Mikado is my favorite! The food is consistently perfect 100% of the time. Great sushi options & entrees. The portions are huge and there is always leftovers for me! I think their to-go-box needs to be larger.
The atmosphere is wonderful & all the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. It’s always a great experience and perfect for special occasions or a dinner with family.

I will NEVER go back here to eat. Food was good but the service, atmospher, were pathetic. They rush u in and quickly bring u ur check to pay (VERY EXPENSIVE) so u don’t sit and talk with ur group. First of all, got there and their parking lot had NOT been cleared of snow and ice, it was very dangerous to walk on. It’s a wonder they don’t get sued over people falling and getting hurt, if u are going to open ur business, at least have the access to get inside in a safe condition. They are too cheap to have it done and don’t want to do it themself. But the worst part is what they did to the heat ( it was only 16 degrees out yesterday) and they turned the heat off to hurry and get u out. Our entire party was freezing to death and ended up having to take more than half our order to go because we were too cold to finish eating it there. So 1 out of 10 I would rate it -0. Go ELSEWHERE!!

This place has become one of my daughters destinations bought for lunch, however they do not offer any type of lunch special which is not like our last place. Everything is individually priced which adds up quickly. The service is always decent when we come in there however I wish they had a lunch special like buy two sushi rolls includes soup or salad with your lunch.

This place is fantastic. We’ve known about it for years, but never came because we had a favorite of ours just across the border in TN. Since the other place has gone down a little in quality and atmosphere, we decided to give Mikado a shot.
Inside the place is fantastic, very big and open. Parking outside is ample as well.
We ALWAYS start off with a Kentucky Derby Roll…it’s our go-to roll here and at the other spot. Each time we visit a place with sushi, we always look for a roll that’s similar to this, but can’t seem to find one. This one is good, ask for extra Eel and YumYum Sauce and you can’t go wrong.
The salad and soup, while certainly not the star of the show are certainly good.
I ordered the filet (medium-rare) and shrimp, big fan of that surf & turf combo. Both are always cooked wonderfully, with the right amount of seasoning and the filet is cooked internally just right. Our chef tonight was spot on with the rice too! Not sure what his name is, but we’ve had him a few times and he’s super consistent on everything he puts on that grill…and it is always delicious.
I only have two negative issues that don’t really impact the five star rating…1. The masks that the staff wear make it really hard to hear because it’s generally pretty loud in the hibachi area. 2. Our chef didn’t put on much of a ‘show’. I, personally, don’t need the show…but I feel that’s a big reason why many people come to these places.
Anyhow, if you’ve never been here, please get out there and get yourself a spot at the table. I, for one, think you’ll like it.

This was our first time trying Mikado. We did a delivery order and the food was still amazing! We are looking forward to dining in the restaurant. Everything had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The sushi was my wife’s and I favorite part. It was a good amount of food for the price. You will not be disappointed. I’m not sure if they do a military discount or not.

The sushi was the rave. The hibachi mediocre. Ordered the chili Thai roll and vegetable fried rice. The lady had chicken fried rice. Dishes has good flavor but price steep for quality. The sushi was FANTASTIC though. Definitely my new favorite and go to roll. Not sure what drinks we ordered. They were delicious though. Service kinda slow. Clean restaurant. Covid precautions very well enforced.

Worth the money! My husband and I went here for my birthday dinner and our waitress was absolutely awesome! She made conversation and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. It didnt take long for us to wait for our food and all orders were correct! I’m the type of person who gets easily annoyed when my order is wrong so I always appreciate when my order is correct. The price is very good for the quality of the food. They have Hibachi but I’m anxious about that so I never sit on that end. We sat at a the regular dine in booth. Love love love their sushi variety and prices. The deserts are amazing as well. I ordered the red velvet cake and the presentation was beautiful. The red velvet cake itself was super delicious! Try dessert! Always enjoy coming here!
