This was my first visit but definitely not the last. It is difficult finding an Oyster Po Boy in KY. When I saw this on their menu I knew I had to go. It is a casual restaurant, you order at the counter and a server delivers. But, they have a wide ranging menu prepared by a star chef without the expense one would expect. It is out of the way but a beautiful drive through horse country ending in a superbly prepared meal that makes it well worth it. Along with the sandwich, I had fries and coleslaw. Everything was freshly made and the sandwich and fries came to the table HOT. The desserts looked yummy but I was too stuffed to even think about it. Do yourself a favor and go.

Sweet find in the country. Every dish was delicious! The service was quick and the atmosphere was pleasant. You order your food from the counter and they bring it to you. Our meal, including dessert was around $80 for a party of three. Highly recommend!

Customer service was good and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The food was the star and the portion sizes did not disappoint. The value for the entrees and the portion size was perfect. I always say you know you are going to get a good burger when they ask what temp you want. It is a little off the beaten path but worth the drive.

A detour off of I-75 brought me thought some of the most beautiful horse properties I have seen in a long while! In the mist of rolling horse land stand a little market, more of a mom and pop dinner, lovely people and great pie! Don’t just drive by, stop in enjoy the view and relax!

Cute local restaurant in the heart of Lexington’s horse country. Decorated with jokey silks and a very country store like vibe. Service was great. Very nice people. I ordered the chicken tenders basket. Very flavorful but a bit overcooked. The fries were way too salty for my taste but still good and crunchy. The have some amazing looking desserts but we didn’t partake.

Man, this place is so good. My favorite dish is the vegetable steamer basket with salmon. My sister’s favorite is the superfood salad with crispy tofu. My child’s favorite is the Big Blue Burger. The bacon jam is scrumptious. We like the atmosphere and the location. Highly recommend.

We were just passing through Lexington and stumbled onto this wonderful place. Very nostalgic and peaceful setting in the heart of Horse country. The staff was friendly the food was wonderful. We will definitely be back the next time we are passing through.

By far the best foods around. I have tried a little of everything here. And it is always good. Burgers to country poor boys. Always good!! It is a little on the slow side so good when you have an afternoon or evening to relax. If you don’t give yourself enough time you could get a little rushed. The fabulous food is worth the wait. Love all the Kentucky made products here as well!! The staff is always nice and friendly. Desserts all always look good. I need to leave room for dessert next time!! A beautiful drive out to it as well! Keep it up everyone! Thanks.

The KY Colonel Boy is very good. It’s a bit hard to eat on the roll since it’s a big sandwich. (The roll is very good though).
The coleslaw could use a bit more seasoning for a better punch rather than onions overpowering it.
There’s a LOT of flies around. Just around my table there was 7-9. I know people leave doors open, but I feel like before they open they should try to kill some?
As i walked up to the counter there was about 4 circling the dessert area.
Overall, good place to eat. I’d just cover your food when you get your drinks.
