Fine Italian dining in downtown Phoenix, Alexi’s Grill offers classical Italian favorites, homemade soups and salads, fresh seafood (flown in daily), fresh meats, and vegetarian options. Dine-in and take-out are available for both our lunch and dinner menus, and reservations are accepted. They offer full-service catering, can host large groups in the reserved dining area and patio, and specialize in weddings, business functions, and private parties. Their extensive wine list features fine imported Italian wines by the glass or bottle, and happy hour specials are available between 3pm and 7pm Monday through Friday. Dine in with Alexi’s – they are located just off the light rail near Central Avenue and Osborn.

Everything about Alexi’s is wonderful; the friendly staff, delicious food, atmosphere and beverages. We have gone multiple times with large group; they are so easy to work with for reservations. I get so excited when for dinner arrives that I forget to take pictures, I did get some pictures of the desserts; tiramisu and chocolate cake. Both were delicious.
All of the food is amazing, here are some of my favorites;
– calamari and the meatballs for appetizers
– the salmon, chicken piccata, lobster ravioli, clam linguini, filet mignon and chicken parmigiana for dinners

The best food in Phoenix. Please spare yourself the disappointment and come here first. We had Toni who was the hostess for the evening, not only was she gracious and attentive besides these folks being very busy, but the steak I had and the pork my husband had was exceĺlent. Appetizers were amazing! Five stars!!!!

Very pleasant surprise – was in town for a conference and wanted to find a place to eat a bit away from the convention center. Service was excellent, food was very good in an old school way, nothing crazy but done right and thoughtfully. We arrived early and we’re given the option to happy hour at the bar or formal dining. We opted for the latter and happy that we did. Calamari and marinara sauce were excellent as well as the pasta dishes. I’m not sure whether it’s because we’re from LA but for a nice dinner spot, the food and alcohol prices were quite reasonable especially given the generous portions. Would definitely some back.

This spot has one of the best happy hours in Phoenix with amazing deals on tasty food like juicy meatballs, delicious bruschetta, and a fresh chicken Caesar. The portions make it easy to turn happy hour into a full meal, and the quality for the price is hard to beat.

My companion and I went to dinner there last night and we were very disappointed with the look and taste of the food. We had been there many times in the past and the food was exceptional. For starters my NY strip steak was not cooked evenly and most of it was very tough and had a lot of gristle on it. The side of broccoli on both our plates was was hard as a rock and my companion’s salad looked and tasted terrible. What made it even worse was the price … it was not cheap. I don’t mind paying for quality food when I am eating out but, I hate paying for something that is not worth the money.

I went here for my birthday dinner. There were three of us, the bill came out to well over 85 dollars without tip or tax. I got the lobster ravioli, it tasted extremely mediocre and for the price I was severely disappointed. I would’ve thought the food for all meals was frozen if I blind tasted it. My other guest got the fettuccine alfredo and it was extremely overpriced and underwhelming. The service was mid at best on a dead Monday evening. The menu was not as big as I was hoping for a place presenting as fancy. My other guest enjoyed the drinks but again, the prices were unjust considering everything else. The prices I can only assume are based off of the restaurant presenting itself as high class. Overall very disappointed with the experience and wouldn’t give a second chance based on the price aspect alone. The restaurant seems very fancy until you order food, then it kind of just feels like an upscaled red lobster or acerage steakhouse. 🙁

Went for happy hour and sat in the bar. Have not dined in the main dining room. I love they have this daily happy from 3-7. The food offerings are good, delicious and very cheap. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Yes, the atmosphere is outdated but I rather have the cheap prices than an updated space. We have told others and will be coming back.

Came here for my anniversary and valentines day and it was everything you could hope for! The service was really nice, our server was Nelly and she was so understanding and accommodating with us! Also the way the dishes are plated and cooked is top tier! I got the Lobster stuffed Ravioli and my girlfriend got the Shrimp Scampi!

Hidden gem .. went as a single and was seated in dining area instead of being pushed to bar. Enjoyed a well made cocktail, fantastic calamari and wonderful feta shrimp pasta from the regular menu. Waitress was top shelf.. empty plate never sat in front of me .. will return when I stop through town.
