Had lunch with my boyfriend and parents. It was on Saturday around 12:30pm. It was pretty crowded although we were happy to be seated quickly. Their food is always delicious. I did order some dim sum items which are my favorite. I love their Chinese Broccoli too. We tried a tofu hot pot which was very tasty. The staff was very busy. It took them a while at the end to get us some to go boxes. We asked 3 different staff for assistance. Totally understandable that they were slammed. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food. We had plenty of leftovers to feed us for 2 more days. Great experience overall. We will be back again.

The food was excellent and very delicious and that’s the reason we go to Sam Woo but the service and attitude of the Host/Manager was very negative. Very cold and rude personality and made it a little uncomfortable to enjoy the main reason we were there for, which was to enjoy their delicious food.
The Experience can be better if they have somebody that welcomes you with a smile and makes you feel like they really want you to be there to enjoy and that they’re not there to take your money.
The waiter was excellent, unfortunately the host even ruined the opportunity to enjoy the great service of the waiter.
Thats all I have and hope that your experience is better than mine because their food is very delicious.

Roast duck was dense, gray-brown, crumbly, slightly dry, and has tasted closer to liver than meat. The entire duck was like this. It was either frozen or reheated multiple times.
The other food was average Chinese dining. We ordered nine dishes, nothing really notable. Place is slightly cleaner than a high school cafeteria. Staff was largely uninterested but had enough manners.

The roast duck was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the stir-fried green beans. Portions were generous too. The roasted pork, though, had way too much meat and the pieces were too big, which wasn’t very appetizing. The wonton soup was also too salty and lacked depth.
I’d definitely come back for the roast duck and green beans!

The take out side of Sam Woo (south side entrance) has cheap combination plate prices (vs most other Chinese fast foods) and yummy roast duck. You gotta stop by during lunch because later in the day, the selection of dishes shrinks for take out.

We are so happy Sam Woo opened/extended their delivery to our area again. Most of their dishes are consistent. I hope the management will improve the quality of their to go/delivery packaging quality. Ordinary to go foam boxes will leak the sauce and get messy when opening at home. But other than that, great restaurant to try Chinese food.

Dine in at the restaurant can get busy. Their foods are tasty. I don’t recommend to order to-go at the back of the restaurant because they seem to ignore you and not take your order for almost 30 minutes sometimes.

We didn’t have to drive to San Gabriel or Irvine to enjoy the authentic HK food. Sam Woo in Cerritos just never disappoints. (But don’t expect the excellent or attentive service though, it’s busy as always:))

We ordered a lot like we usually do every time we come here. The food is very delicious. Lobster in black bean sauce, big fish steamed, duck, Mongolian beef, beef broccoli, noodles, beef curry and many more. We enjoy the food every time.

Awesome, reliable, Chinese food if you’re entertaining or having a gathering with loved ones. Lots of tables, experienced wait staff, wide variety of Chinese classics, including dim sum: har gow, Shiu Mai, Mongolian beef, chow mein, won ton soup, black bean clams, French style beef, braised string beans. There is a daily lunch special with egg drop soup, even on the weekends, around $15 to $20 per dish and up. Delicious delights.
