Plenty of parking in the lot.
Seat wherever you like but I didn’t want to take up a table so I took a spot at the counter.
Staff were friendly.
Good music playing over the stereo.
Orange juice was delicious and fresh tasting.
Ordered healthy choice as I wasn’t quite hungry but the fruit had been soaking in liquid too long so was overripe/past it’s prime.
Scrambled eggs were okay not much seasoning/flavor.
Slice of white bread was toasted on one side but not the other.
Unlimited coffee and they give you a carafe to avoid waiting for refills which is a nice touch.

We come to Coos Bay in the morning on rare occasions. When we do, we eat at The Kozy for breakfast. We had the chicken fried steak which they split up for us. The meat was delicious and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was seasoned like myself and made our visit even better. I have eaten here for 2 sets of meals, my husband has eaten there all 3 times of the day. It was the place to be after a hard shift on the ambulance. Bottom Line. We have always had 8 or 9 out of 10 meal here.

Great local breakfast spot with classic breakfast meals! It has a very traditional diner feel and cost is reasonable. There is tons of shopping opportunities in or around the area and a plethora of parking!

This is just an old fashion dinner. Nothing fancy just decent food and good service at an affordable price. If you’re trying to impress someone by wine and dining them pick somewhere else…lol. But on the other hand if a full belly with good eats and money left over in the wallet is your goal……..GOOD CHOICE.

Mom and pop restaurant with a steady stream of local customers. The servers were friendly and attentive. For my meal, I ordered the appetizer chicken wings with a side of fries. The chicken wings were delicious and not overly spicy. A relaxed and enjoyable meal.

The burger was fairly average, but good – the bacon was cooked well, which is somewhat rare on a burger. The fries were surprisingly good, and were nice and crispy.
The waiter was friendly and helpful. The wait was short, especially considering how few employees were working.
