Drove down to Idaho Springs to take care of some personal business. We stopped in a quaint and friendly place, called #MainStreetRestaurant,

I had the best rye toast here with my skillet breakfast, which was also awesome! My hubby ordered corned beef hash with sliced tomato and eggs. Our son ordered what else, but a breakfast burrito with sausage. Everything was delicious and I mean memorably delicious!

It’s not a huge place, just big enough.

There was an unfortunate incident, where an out of town group waltzed in at peak time demanding a table for 9 or 10 and proceeded to show his @$$ . Very unfortunate for everyone else there with families having to witness his behaviors and language.

So, here’s a note for travelers, if you are traveling with a large group of people, don’t walk into restaurants at peak time and expect a table to be ready and waiting for you! Above all, have some self-respect , if not for yourself, at least show some respect for others.

Make it a good deed day, always leave it in better shape than you found it!

i have been to this place numerous times and perhaps the only location that serves you Lobster benedict in Colorado. The main reason for that is the owner is from Maine and man these guys have the best benedicts i have tried in Colorado. This is located right by i-70 and makes it the ideal place to have breakfast on the way to mountains. I wish they increase their menu to include Salmon benedicts and some Latte.

I’m always suspicious when a place has so many reviews and such a high rating so whenever I came here I had high expectations because this is a four point 7 Star Pl. and man it did meet my expectations. This place is shockingly phenomenal. One of my friends said small mountain towns have the best diners and in this case that is true.

I was with a pretty cool group of hippies from Austin and they all wanted to share their food and initially I was like no I’m greedy now but they had numbered me so I did. I am so glad I did. The portions are so massive and they’re really reasonably price each one being less than $20 for how much food you get.

Our server Kelly was great. We ordered the lemon poppy pancake, she had us this place is famous for its Benedict’s and I see why. We ordered the blue sky and it was phenomenal, we had the veggie juevos rancheros which tasted surprisingly Texans/SWern, and the lemon poppy seed pancake. Honestly the vibes are good, the food is good and I would recommend you come here

I randomly popped into this restaurant and was happily surprised surprised at how good it was. Service was great, burgers were awesome and the fries were the perfect amount of crispy. Highly recommended we will be back 🙂

Exceptional. We had a group of 4 and came in for a late breakfast on a Monday.

We were seated immediately and greeted promptly by Lottie. The customer service throughout the meal was Michelin star worthy. Friendly, welcoming, answered questions, provided suggestions, returned frequently to check in. Perfect customer service experience. We were made to feel like regulars.

A couple of us had Bloody Mary’s, which were delicious and well adorned with accoutrements including bacon (on one) which was fantastic. We also had a few coffees which were hot and fresh, no complaints whatsoever.

Meals ranged from corned beef hash (delicious and balanced), to green chile (perfectly seasoned), to breakfast sandwich (good size if looking for a smaller meal), to fruit topped french toast (incredible texture, rich flavor and not overly sweet, great suggestion to use the house-made cinnamon bread). All of the food was really good with generous portion sizes. The fresh breads being used make a difference, whether toast, sandwich, or french toast. Get that side of bacon if you can!

We will definitely return whenever headed through Idaho Springs in the morning/early afternoon.

Thanks for a great experience!

A friend of a friend, a new friend actually, told us this was the best place in town and that it was the place she frequented most.

Although I live quite a ways away, near Boulder, we were visiting and had lunch at this sweet, cozy, home-cooked restaurant.

Although we were told the food was really outstanding, we had to eat it to believe it and believe it we do.

The bread alone is outrageously, wholesome, healthy and delicious.

Each of our dishes were different: two of us had sandwiches and the other two had brunch with eggs.

Honestly, with food that amazing and homemade and the service, friendly and warm, I would frequent this place as well if I lived in Idaho Springs.

My god this place has INCREDIBLE food.. Its no wonder why the ratings are so high. Kelly, our server was amazing as well! I recommend looking at the menu online if youre able because there is SO MUCH offered. Everything I had absolutely slapped! I live well over a hour away but would consider driving all the way down there to go again. It is very small inside would be the only “down side” if I had to find anything to not rave about.
My eggs benni was outta this world and Kelly helped me pick the cinnamon fresh bread. Absolutely
Thanks and be back asap!!

A small but busy restaurant that had a great server and really good food. It’s a small town ambience and very comfortable. The eggs Benedict were really good with a thick slice of ham. The Benedict Scott was also a nice variation and both were served with super crispy outside hashbrowns, which were also moist inside. The pancakes come in 8 inch baby size or 12 inch hubcap size roughly. You order each one individually. The pineapple pancakes were surprisingly not as interesting as we had hoped. I thought they tasted a bit like biscuit batter and were fine but nothing spectacular. But boy was it big! The spinach mushroom omelette was a little bland also surprisingly. I think we decided that the spinach and mushrooms were slightly watery and undercooked. Ended up having to put salt on it for a little bit more flavor. The side of bacon was perfectly done. And don’t miss the chance to have one of their biscuits which was out of this world. The fresh squeezed orange juice tasted just that way, but had no pulp which surprised me, but all in all we left with full stomachs and enjoyed our meal and the server who had a great personality. Don’t rule this place out
