Ate here last Friday evening and the food was exceptional. The portion size was great. The chicken chimichanga was wonderful, as well as everything else we were served. The waitress was so sweet and an excellent server. Very pleased with the whole experience.

I don’t know why I still come here. It used to be amazing and I keep hoping it’ll go back.
But now I’d give the service a ZERO if I could.
We usually do pick up and I’m ALWAYS MISSING something. Literally. Every single time.
I’ve paid for so much cheese I’ve never gotten (Which don’t get me started on the $10 large cheese that comes in the smallest To Go container ever) but I was lucky to have even gotten that this time.
I walk in to do my pickup and the girls at the a to Go counter is counting receipts and about as blah as possible. She doesn’t say anything so there’s a ton of places you walk in and pick up on your own bags. There’s one bag with my name. So I went over to it and tried to look through it but she got onto me. Asked my name and I told her then proceeded to lecture me about not going through it. I said “oh I’m sorry. Is it ok to take?” And she just lectured me again and she was quiet and annoyed so I could hardly hear and I was like- ok am I not ok to take it? And after telling me three times to wait for them she oked it.
So grabbed the bag and walked out, sour because I don’t normally go to restaurants to be met with that kind of attitude. I came to my car to check it a lo and behold AS PER USUAL I was missing an a la cart taco. I go back in and I’m met with the same rude, clearly annoyed at everything going on attitude. She acts like I was stupidest and to investigate a missing taco, taking the whole bag goes through it, reading my receipt making sure it’s on there, calling it back. At that time I see a sign BEHIND ME that says to wait for an employee to check the food. Might help to put it on the To Go stand where people can read it if it’s going to get me treated like a stupid irritating idiot. There’s printed paper instructions taped all over all nice and professionally, but the only one I could see that says anything about not taking the food, is behind you. You only see it when you turn to leave. Another person walked in while I was waiting on my taco and honestly you just need a new person to stand up there. Where’s the greeting? I am not easily bothered especially when it comes to restaurants. I’ve been a hostess, server and a bartender. I can empathize all day long, but I never acted so annoyed and rude to anyone. I can’t belive you all are ok with this. This was Saturday 9/13 around 7pm. I won’t be back.
Pictures is an almost $8 a la carte spinach enchilada. $3.15 of it is the Rancho cheese dip.
They’re ripping us off on to go just with the cost of the Rancho dip

Myself and my family have been coming here for around 15-20 yrs. I don’t know if they got new owners or what but the food quality has gone downhill. Today I ordered tacos for their taco Tuesday special and when I got home (8 min. drive) my tacos were soaking wet and beyond soggy (not grease) and they were sitting in water in the container, like they used wet lettuce and/or meat on my tacos. It couldn’t have been the cheese as there was only a few sprinkles of cheese on each taco.

I had to remove the bottom of all the shells and put the contents into a different container to eat. I opened the salsa container to find it watered down with zero taste/flavor at all. Their salsa has been like water the past few times I’ve been including today and I used to LOVE, love their salsa. I had to dig out some shredded cheese and salsa from my fridge in order to eat the taco mess.
I’m sorry to say, I won’t be back. This used to be my favorite Mexican place to eat but due to the poor quality and no flavor, I won’t be back. Some of my friends had mentioned the same.
I hope the current owners read this so they know and understand why they are losing or not keeping customers.

So… 12 dollars worth of tiny street tacos and y’all had a hair in them. This is 5 dollars worth of food max. The flavor was decent. But between the price gouge and the carelessness in the kitchen, I know this place will never get my business again.

We went here for a family birthday lunch during the weekend and I really enjoyed our experience. The hostess was very friendly and quickly got our tables ready since we had a huge party. There was already salsa and water starting to arrive at our table when we were almost finished getting seated. Our server was seriously fantastic. So personable, very attentive, and honestly did just a great job.

The restaurant itself has a nice bar & grill feel to it mixed in with it definitely being in Kansas City (Chiefs and Royals décor). There are TONS of TV’s in here too.

The menu is almost too big, and has a great selection of items including daily specials every day of the week. The chips and salsa were decent. The chips were perfectly cooked but the salsa was too sweet with not enough spice. Flavor was ok though. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Wrap with Rancho Grande dip smothering it. The burrito/chicken wrap was massive and packed with flavor. I loved what I ordered and was really impressed.

Overall, I thought our service and our food were 10/10 and made for a wonderful dining experience here. I hope I get the chance to come back here and try something else!

Never a disappointment when eating here. Lunch specials are just the right amount.
It has been a place my twin sister and I frequently visited until Nov 2022. I returned in honor of our birthday today.

The service was fast and friendly but the cuisine was about what you’d expect for a strip mall restaurant.
My overall impression was the seasoning has been toned down for a Midwestern palate. Nothing we had was bad, it just lacked pizzazz.

Not much selection. Food had no seasoning or flavor, unless you count copious amounts of grease as flavor. Tacos had nothing but meat and cheese on them. The water tastes the way dirty mop water smells. I dont recommend wasting money here.

Everyone here was super friendly. The food tasted great. The chips and salsa were really good. I got the el pastor street tacos . The thing that knocked down the stars was how small the tacos were! Normally they are larger and should take up more of the plate than the beans and rice. I felt pretty disappointed since that is my favorite part . It tasted great but why were they so small?! Sad but good. Everything else was fine.

I went for taco Tuesdays each week they kept getting my order wrong. Server treated us like it was our fault and up and a big inconvenience to fix it. Never the less we found a better place to eat Mexican food. On North Oak.
