Went to try… for maybe one more time as so many are closing. About 10 years ago, this was the place to go. It’d dreadfully declined over the past 10 years, especially since COVID, and it’s been rare that I’ve gone. I decided to try it today, in fear that they’ll all close and I’ll miss having it one more time… Well, after today, I’m good. They can ALL close.
I tried the breakfast bar. It was about 35 minutes prior to it closing. The food was horrible. I couldn’t half finish the 1st plate. Tried a 2nd visit. Yeah, I couldn’t even do it. Bland, old, and bad tasting. If you’re thinking of trying Frisch’s before they’re all gone, or even visiting any that are not planning to close, maybe the menu is better than the breakfast bar? Otherwise, save yourself the “yuck” and go practically anywhere else.

I’ve definitely had good food/service here. This last time was so disappointing. It was not super busy. There were plenty of employees. From the time we sat down there were 3 dirty tables with all nasty plates and drinks sitting there. They sat there the majority of our visit. It was a longer than norm mail wait for service. The food was not the best. I got a big boy my mother got pancakes. Her pancakes were cold. My burger just wasn’t good at all. My coleslaw was pure bitter. Tasted like vinegar. Also got the Brooke thing. Was hard, not soft and chewy.

5:00 p.m. on a Sunday and there was only one other customer eating in the restaurant and he was at the counter. There were two different groups of people waiting on carryout. I was sat within a couple minutes and my waitress was very friendly and did a great job of taking care of me. I did hear that both of the customers’ carry out orders were wrong. My order was correct though. The patty melt sandwich is so big and meaty and cheesy compared to other locations. I am so glad I got it! They give you a ton of onion rings and of course the hot fudge cake is always delicious! By the time I left at 5:45 there were three other tables of patrons. Our waitress was working hard. In her down time, she was scrubbing high chairs and sweeping the carpet. She was the only one there until another girl came in late. She stopped over numerous times though to offer refills and ask how everything was. I have no complaints about my visit here. I do think though they need to fix their seating some. I was in a booth that was really wide on one side and narrow on the other. I noticed the booth next to me, the table leg was almost touching the booth. You’d have to be a child to crawl on the seat to get into that booth, as you couldn’t put your legs around the pole. So it does need some updating, but it was clean.

It was like stepping back into my past and enjoying a breakfast memory. Speedy and friendly service, tasty food, reasonable prices… and may down the road from my hotel. What more could I possibly ask for?

Unable to have enough staff on duty to take care of customers. The staff that was there. Was happy and courteous . Salad bar was running out due to staffing. And a turkey club which I ordered was just a turkey sandwich

I’ve been coming to this location for a while now and had to update my review. Going through the drive thru… If you’re in a rush, this is not the place. The food is great considering the hamburger patties seemed to be a tad bit old. It would make sense that if your going to wait that long that it would be fresh and hot. But that’s not the case. Still good food. The fries are amazing. And that famous tartar sauce hits the spot every time. To sum it is. Good food, long wait, and a little pricy. Enjoy!

So I had to give these girls props because it was the very last day of this location of Frisch’s. So they were running out of food by the moment people were getting frustrated and it wasn’t their fault lol. But they did a great job at working with what they had. I love to know how matter how busy my waitress was and how overwhelmed by the lack of product she was always smiling and did not hesitate to get what I needed quick

I will still come to this location at times but every time I go the salad bar is old and the salad itself is getting Brown. So I recommend every time you come to this location. When you walk by the salad bar, look at everything, if you want to order it because I actually got sick once because the salad was so bad and I just paid no attention. But I usually get the big boy with fries. And the burgers are usually good, but there are times when it’s mediocre at best, so it’s a really hit or mist with this location.
If you want to come here and have a for sure, great meal, I would not recommend it
