I tried this place last week and the chicken tenders were honestly so good. They were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. I went back to try the chicken pieces this time and I basically paid for a box of bones. It was really disappointing. I do not recommend the pieces at all. Stick with the strips because those are the only thing worth ordering.

I had a great experience at Chad and Ben’s Chicken. The customer service really stood out, especially Young Sam — and I’ve got to say, the hat was awesome. It’s always cool to see employees proudly supporting their brand like that. The food and overall vibe were great. The only small hiccup was that there was no ice in my drink, but everything else made up for it. I’ll definitely be back!

Their chicken is good, but hands down. You need to get their pie! Yes, desserts at restaurants are always a little more expensive, but their pie is the absolute best! The only reason for the two stars on atmosphere is because it’s drive-thru only. There really isn’t any atmosphere, it’s not applicable. They do have a couple tables and some grass you could eat outside if you want to, but most people just drive through.

I ordered a few things to try everything – food is good . Service was nice – went Friday night ate outside. The peach pie was excellent!
The chicken pieces I got were big and juicy and the tenders were so flavorful.
Turkey steak was my favorite!

Great fried chicken!!! Comfort food! This is only a to-go place but the food is amazing! The employee Jane J. Was super friendly and very helpful even ordering over the intercom! Jane was very polite and friendly when pulling up to the window and made sure everything I ordered was correct! Jane deserves a bonus for going above and beyond with customer service!

The owner needs to pay for quality employees. I know the kids are trying, but you have to give people proper professional training to represent your brand.
This is also a great learning experience for teens learning to get into the workforce. But If you choose to hire them for less so you don’t have to invest in them. You’re not just failing them but also yourself.
I pulled up to the menu and ask for a grilled chicken sandwich. The menu shows fries and drink included in value meal.
I pulled up to the window. The server asked if I ordered a chicken sandwich. I told them I wanted a grilled sandwich but a regular sandwich would’ve been fine also.
The server hands me a box and explains they were able to change it. I open the box and there is cup of mashed potatoes? I explain I ordered fries but she gave me mashed potatoes and she looked blankly at me.
After a few awakened moments I asked for a fork for my mashed potatoes, she gave me another confused look and repeated “a fork???”
I responded with “yes a fork please”
She left for a minute then came back with a fork and told me to have a nice day.
I’m a reasonable person, we all make mistakes. If she had just asked me if I wanted mashed potatoes or fries I would’ve been fine with it. I would’ve even been fine if she said “oh I’m sorry I forgot to ask if you wanted fries or mashed potatoes.” I would’ve taken the mashed potatoes and gone about my day. No apology, no empathy, no recognition for the mistake.
The chef must’ve been having a bad day or something…. The bottom bun was so saturated from mayonnaise. I just ate the chicken with my fork. The bottom of the wrapper was cold from the amount of mayonnaise, the sandwich had. The sandwich was wrapped up less than a minute from when I received it.
And I still gave them a tip!!

Update: I went into this restaurant again after some time and the service was amazing. The food was excellent and the quality improved 100x! The fries were amazing and the grilled chicken sandwich hit the spot. Everything was piping hot off the grill. Thank you for hearing your customers!!

I have loved this place for years! The food is still good, I just expect to get what I pay for. I ordered an 8 piece meal with 2 sides and it’s supposed to be rolls and corn pones… Unfortunately there’s was a metal shaving in the mashed potatoes my 1 year old was loving and there were no corn pones. Customer service wasn’t good at all. I asked questions and instead of getting answers both girls just started at me with a blank stare. I know they are young, but when i spend $50 on lunch with my daughters I expect to get what the sign says I’m going to get and my questions answered maybe? And I’m glad I noticed the metal shavings in the mashed potatoes before my 1 year old tried eating it!

I did the drive through. Got fried chickens, rolls, potatoes salad and mash potatoes. Everything tasted great. Love the potatoes salad there is spice in there seem familiar but can’t figure out what it is. The sauce for the rolls the honey and butter sauce that should be bottled!! I would buy them! Chicken got some gentle crunch with tender juicy meat.

My mother is 95. She has been going to Maddox for their delicious chicken and pies, for probably half a century. She always reminded us to drive to Bountiful on our travels from Arizona to the northern states. We always took her there when she was with us and she loved her tradition.
My dear mother started Hospice this week. She held my hand and asked if I would be going Bountiful. With her cute sense of humor. We are in Arizona. She has had no appetite however stated that some Maddox chicken sure sounded good! I may just have to drive there or fly in to get her some!
The tradition has been carried on to my grandchildren! Thank you for years of great food and fun!
