Had an absolute blast at Howl at the Moon! The shots were great, and the bucket drinks were so much fun to share. We ended up staying for a while because the atmosphere was amazing and the band kept the energy high all night. Such a fun spot for a night out—I’ll definitely be back!

Walk to the front door at 1:30 the dude with a long hair just basically shew AWAY me with his hand and said we already did last call. I thought wow that was so hospitable. THIS place will never get my money not a damn dime you might want to rethink that and associate.

I’d never been to a dueling piano style bar before and I had very little interest in going to this one, but I followed a friend here and let me tell you – I’m converted. Howl at the Moon is without a doubt one of the best places to spend an evening in Louisville. The drinks are good and reasonably priced, the service is good, and the musicians rock.
The ability of the 7 or so different musicians to keep the energy up and switch between instruments seamlessly to present a wide variety of throwback hits and top 40 alike blew my mind. In the entire time I was there, two nights in a row, I never experience anything but joy as we jammed and the drinks flowed.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun evening in Louisville. Tip for the musicians to play your favorite jams or even draw a picture on the mirror behind them; it’s so worth it. One of the highlights of my trip was this spot; hope to be back someday.

Wow. I literally just came on here to share my experience at Howl at the Moon. I have been there a few times and enjoy the live music. What I witnessed on Saturday night was absurd. I saw someone get hit in the face and did not even seem like the staff cared- looked like they just wanted everyone that was involved out of the bar. I noticed blood all over the floor. Extremely disappointed. This did not feel like a protected or safe environment. I will unfortunately never be returning to this establishment.

Was there with family and friends enjoying music. My friend got sucker punched and the “so called security” did nothing except question us multiple times and make sure we weren’t making a mess of the blood on the floor from his face. So grateful for the for the patrons that cared more than the staff and walked out with us to make sure we were ok and safe. They let the POS leave so we were unable to press charges, which leads me to believe he’s a regular that they were protecting. I have not been to 4th St Live since it opened and only went for Tinsel Tavern. Definitely won’t be back. Still trash…

Not only the best Howl at the Moon ever, but possibly the best piano bar ever. We come to Louisville just for this place and the incredible musicians and staff who will dazzle you with their talent and service. This is a must do. Set aside 3-5 hours on Wednesday or a Saturday because it doesn’t matter the night, they just straight bring it!

We came down as a group to do the bourbon trail, and we went to Howling at the Moon two times during our stay. The musicians were amazing. What a talented group of people. The service was great! We had a young lady and I apologize. I don’t remember her name, but she took care of us both nights remember who we were and served us the drinks that we ordered the night before without even asking. A definite stop for a good time in Louisville at Live on Fourth.

Didn’t order food! This place turned out to be an event establishment and I had ended up joining someone’s Bachelorette party. Everyone was nice & the music & atmosphere was good. The service was a bit slow, but it was very crowded. Couldn’t find a table, so I just stood at the bar & had a couple drinks then left.
