My husband and I hadn’t been to Big Boy in ages, so we figured it was time to give it another go. The all-day breakfast really stands out around here because sometimes you just need pancakes and eggs for dinner, and not many places deliver on that craving. The food hit the spot. The cookies and cream pancakes tasted like deep fried Oreos in the best way, and the scramble dish was equally satisfying. This place has that comforting classic diner feel with simple, tasty food you could make at home, but it is so much nicer when someone else cooks and cleans. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was calm and cozy. We will be back

Open for Sunday breakfast buffet, daily for lunch and dinner. Senior specials and other discounts. All food are made by hand on premises and staff are friendly and helpful. Come for the food, stay for dessert or a milkshake to go. Lots of parking.

We got there at 7:20 They close at 8. No one else there. Staff were cleaning up to go. Not appetizing to see them sweeping floor while we ate. Wanted to order desert but they seemed real flustered. Waterless came back to table saying they did not have what we ordered. We canceled one order but wanted the one carryout ( I asked waitress if that would be better and she said yes. Ordered the chocolate cake with ice cream & hot fudge. When home opened it. Cake was very dry & the amount of ice cream was Very small. Disappointed that was the whole reason really for going there. Usually love their desserts!

My first visit to a Big Boy in a longtime and I was very impressed with everything. Got seated right away and our order taken. I was surprised to see many good choices on the menu. It was really hard to decide with so many good options. I ordered a breakfast option and was very pleased with how everything tasted. I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back again.

We have visited this Big Boy every summer. Big disappointment this visit. There was no breakfast. They didn’t have any onion rings. Bathroom stalls had a broken lock. Can’t lock the door. No soap in restroom. Food was okay but not what we went there to order. Server was great. Rest was total disappointment.

My father & I really enjoyed our late, mid afternoon lunch today at Tawas Big Boy! Our waitress was Jazzman, who did a fine job! Dad enjoyed his liver & onions and his soup. I had a delicious waffle with chicken; the chicken was way overcooked with a tough outer batter. I should sent it back, but we had appts. Otherwise we enjoyed the food & service too.

We have been go here for years but this last time was absolutely horrible, we came Halloween night it has been a family tradition and kids eat free but they decided not to do that this year. Then the waiter was a young man who never refilled our drinks or checked in, I had to ask another sever to do so! We were the only ones there at the time so they weren’t busy….. now I know why, the bathroom stall door is broken in the woman’s bathroom as well! $50 dollars later and very very disappointing. I wouldn’t waste our time there again

Everything was Awesome!! We didn’t even have to ask for extra lemons with the water and there was no charge for the lemons. Service was Amazing…Susie was on it. The best waitress ever!! Food was delicious. Definitely going back

We went a couple weeks ago on our way up to our cabin. We normally stop this location a couple times a year because the big boy and the area we live closed. I used to love their spaghetti but the last few times I have gotten it they hardly put any sauce on it. I have to ask for extra which I’m charged for when I went up a couple weeks ago I got the big boy burger and the sauce did not taste right and the burgers were overcooked. My mom and aunt got the Slim Jim and my mom‘s cheese on her slim Jim was burnt so bad that she thought it was bacon the waitress took it back and then brought it back out and said that was just burnt cheese. I had him clean it up, so needless to say was very disappointed with how the quality is going downhill. There was a fly flying around us the whole time we were trying to eat also.
