We went for a meal and the experience was excellent. We ordered a pasta and a pizza, and both dishes were delicious, with great flavor and quality. The service was very good from the very beginning; we were attended by a super friendly and attentive waitress who made everything even more pleasant. In addition, her other colleague was also very attentive — you can tell they work with care and professionalism. Without a doubt, a place to return to and recommend. Whenever we visit Gibraltar again, we won’t hesitate to come back.

We were in Gibraltar on Gibraltar Day but the daylight was already starting to fade by the time we got there.

After racing from the border crossing to the straights we finally got a once in a lifetime look across the straights to Morocco in Africa. We were running so late that we knew there was not going to be another bus to take us back to the border crossing as it got later and later. That meant we were going to walk back to the border.

Fortunately for us, the Mamma Mia restaurant was open, well lit and did a great job for us with an amazing meal. The restaurant takes full advantage of its location on a nice hilly street and we appreciated that it was open to the outside. It has an excellent family type of atmosphere.

The staff there was amazing, just like the food!

Pizza has always been top tier here. I came after 2 years and had the garlic chicken one and my god it tasted even better this time round!! Just a bit annoying with the cars and main road outside

We had a wonderful lunch at Mamma Mia – Pizzeria & Pasta House! The food was absolutely delicious — we ordered pizza, pasta, and two salads, and everything was served very quickly and fresh. The girls working there were so friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even nicer.

The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. For dessert, we tried the panna cotta and another sweet treat — both were amazing! Everything was clearly made fresh and with care. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves good Italian food!

Fantastic.

I had a delicious swordfish which was on the Specials Menu.

I could tell it was freshly caught, perfect texture and cooked to perfection. With almonds, roast tomatoes, courgette and onion. Alongside a tasty prawn sauce. Perfection.

I also had some amazing focaccia and a goat’s cheese salad that was incredible.

Service was fast and waiters were friendly and attentive.

Highly recommended.

We’ve always enjoyed going to Mamma Mia whenever we’re in Gibraltar—it’s one of our favorite spots. The bruschetta (or “bruschettas Itaila”) are consistently amazing, probably the best in Gibraltar. However, this visit was quite disappointing. The service was still excellent, and the staff remained friendly, but the food didn’t meet expectations. I ordered the spinach and ricotta cheese-filled pasta, cooked in a creamy sauce with king prawns and fresh spinach (64 from the menu). Unfortunately, the portion was small, and there wasn’t a trace of spinach in the ravioli or any fresh spinach in the dish at all. The sautéed vegetables were mostly just onions, with very little variety in the other veggies.

To top it off, when I went to pay, the waitress came straight over with the card machine, giving us no time to properly review the bill. She also immediately mentioned there was no service charge, which felt a little rushed and off-putting. It just wasn’t the experience we’ve come to expect.

Incredible food! A real hidden gem. We tried the aubergine with goats cheese (stunning!), the burrata salad (a hundred times better than any we’d tried on England), and the langoustine with warm avocado (such fresh langoustine and tasty avo!). All were exceptional, really incredible quality. Beautifully presented. The pizzas were great also. Fantastic service, the lovely staff gave us a shot on the house.

Not a bad spot for a very quick pizza refuel stop. Very friendly & efficient service.

The focaccia is probably the best I’ve ever had! Tried the Focacce con Formaggio, was just like cheesy garlic bread, but the other ones sound great too! The BBQ pizza was good too, nothing mind blowing but definitely a good pizza! Not the most attentive staff, things took a bit of time.
