My son and visited chipotle 98 north Lakeland today to get a bowls .My son went in to order our two bowls which he received .when we got home,I started to eat my bowl and I noticed something in my bowl which looks like a leaf. I took a look at it and took it out and it was a big leaf. This is disgusting and unacceptable. This place needs to be shut down eat here at your own risk‼️‼️Beware they’re putting stuff in people food. I hope you have the worst life, whoever ever put this leaf inside my bowl‼️

FYI, I reached out on customer support and on their website they got it set up where you cannot upload the photos, but I will upload them here. I don’t recommend this place to no one. This is very disgusting.

I’m extremely disappointed with my order today. I specifically asked NO cheese because I’m allergic, and the bowl I picked up was full of cheese. I drove 30 minutes to pick up my food, and now I can’t even eat it. This isn’t a small mistake — it’s a health issue, and it shows a lack of attention to customer requests.

I rely on Chipotle for quick meals during my workday, but this experience left me without lunch and wasted my time. I hope the team takes allergies seriously and double-checks orders moving forward.

I’ve always gone to chipotle and I’ve never been to a location like this…
I am a local and I would say 9 out of 10 times this location has been out of something if not 2 or 3 items. They are always out of pico, sour cream, and cheese. But their to go items are always fully stocked and the first time I asked if I could have a little pico from the to go table, the girl just kept saying no regardless of what I asked and never explained anything. It was really weird. Tonight they were out of cheese and the girl skinny light skin girl wiped up old cheese, squeezed it, and threw it in my bowl. I was in the car reading reviews because I was just so appalled when I read a lot of people get over charged. I decided to check my receipt why not and SHE CHARGED ME FOR EXTRA CHICKEN. This chipotle is scamming for real. Or they employ total airheads. My husband got a burrito and it was so disgusting there was literally globs of different crap for different bites and there was HAIR IN IT. The food sucks, the customer service sucks, everything sucks. We made a family decision to go to Moes from now on lol

I came in today at approximately 11:45 to get chipotle, and it’s my day off and I’ve been wanting this all week so I decided to go today. When building my bowl I asked for my protein on the side but she didn’t hear that and put it on top, but I brushed that off. Guacamole was also brown. We were very rushed through the line, and by the time I got up to the front I explained that I wanted a large bag of chips in addition to my side of queso. The girl at the register was clearly training, but she charged me for a large bag of chips and they gave me a regular size. The manager was standing right behind her too. They also charged me twice for the queso, when I only got one small side of it. I tried calling to get my money back because I didn’t want to drive all the way back, and got put on hold 6 times before I just finally said “this isn’t worth the few dollars”, but then remembered this ISNT THE FIRST TIME that I’ve been overcharged coming here. I understand things happen but this isn’t the first time that this has happened to me or my family. I thoroughly enjoy chipotle but it’s things like this that make me not want to come back.

You can even see on my bowl that it’s just chicken and guacamole ON my bowl. And then the regular bag of chips when we asked for a large. And the receipt where they charged me for a large and 2 queso’s. It may be a few dollars but a few dollars here and there add up.

CHECK YOUR CHIPOTLE RECEIPTS. Very disappointing.

03/02/2026 I picked up my online order exactly at the 10:50 am pick up time. My food was 95 % cold.I had a cold lunch which I paid over 20.00 dollars for. Giving feedback on the Chipotle App is cold and impersonal. I was given the choice to say the food was cold and nothing else. I got the impression the company does not really care my lunch was cold.

Went in a couple hours B4 closing tonight. Very disappointed that they were out of a lot of selections.
No tomatos, no veggies, and no cheese. Seems I should expect to get the same selections as any other time of the day!
10 ppl. Working in there no line, 1 girl serving, few ppl back up behind us waiting on her solo act to get to us.
Nice night to sit outside, but staff had already closed it down, chairs all stacked. I felt like everyone working there was over being there and wanted to close up at 9, instead of 11???
Poorly run location, food was lacking cause of the lack of selections
Disappointed they are one of my favorite places to eat. Missed it tonight. Bad service, questionable food.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I havent been up to making this post but to make sure others dont go through what I went through, it’s necessary. I ordered here Veterans day have been severely ill since and I am pregnant. I am Going on day 5 and still no relief and I know it was from the food it tasted off plus they gave me the wrong order. It was supposed to be a steak burrito and turned out to be chicken – it must have been cross-contaminated or who knows what but I know it was from that chicken. Look at the reviews, I am not the only one who experienced issues from this place! This location needs to shut down or manager needs to do something because the fact it affected my health or any others thats a HUGE ISSUE!!!!!

I’ve ordered from this chipotle many times, almost every time I come in I feel unwelcome. I’ve ordered pickup and nearly every order was incorrect or not proportionate. The workers making the food rush you and make you feel like it’s a chore to make your order. As someone who works in the food industry I understand how frustrating it can be at times. But feeling like the workers have an attitude almost every time I come in is beyond annoying.

Went in for lunch at 1pm. First they said that lettuce was over, with no regret! Then they pulled a small container with the BAD lettuce. The portion size was way small, see half empty bowl and the food was COLD. Have been to this Chipotle before and didn’t have a good experience but thought of giving it another shot as we were in the area. NEVER AGAIN! Chipotle just doesn’t care.

In an update, I’m being asked to go their website and provide my information? Why would I do that? If the company/owner is interested they can respond here or fix the issues!

*** I’d like to update my review in response to the newest 5 star review after mine. I took the time to read all the 1star reviews and doesn’t seem coordinated at all to me. What it does tell me is all of the customers to this location pretty much have the same experience. We used to drive to Tampa to the one off Fowler before we got this Chipotle, that’s how much we love it but this place is just so disappointing. I would be mortified if this were my restaurant. Please get a good manager in there. Walked in at 1pm…staff is yelling out they are out of chicken, no white rice, no queso…at 1pm? The last couple of times our $13 double chicken burrito was pathetic and small. There was trash all in the parking lot. This place is awful and until they run a respectable restaurant we won’t be back. How embarrassing for Chipotle…. I will add photos of our previous visit of our $13 double chicken burritos (does that look like $26 worth of burritos?) and the other pic is a steak taco…Absolutely a disgrace.
