Delicious peel and eat shrimp, so huge, with tasty sauce on the side. Buck a shuck oysters (1.25 really but hey), plump and fresh, horseradish, cocktail and hot sauce of course.
Jambalaya, Lobster Papperdale were both amazing. Big chunks of lobster claw in the Papperdale…. yummy! And the jalapeno cornbread was divine!
Bloody Mary was tasty too, topped with olives and a shrimp.
Service was great! Friendly and fast. No long wait time. The vibe is chill here and it’s a really cool place. The happy hour deals are worth the hype.
5-stars:
Love sitting on the patio. Stellar and valued driven offerings for both food and wine. Service is friendly and adequate.
1-star:
Beware of their posted operating times, as overall not accurate. I’ve arrived 45 minutes prior to their posted closing time, only for them to not be seating anymore. Even though patio was packed.
In learning my lesson, on a another occasion, I called before arrival and confirmed they were seating for another 1.5 hours. Upon my arrival (10 minutes later and full patio again), they needed to check with the manager and only able to accommodate my group at the bar.
At this point, not sure what to believe as feels they close whenever the staff chooses. But I’m certain any business should honor their posted hours of operations. I swear, I’m trying to spend money and tip well. Please let me do so.
I ordered
2 EGGS ANY STYLE
choice of meat, house potatoes, toast, seasonal preserves and a waffle.
Being that I avoid meat, I asked what an alternative option was, there was none. I asked if I could have some mushrooms sautéed as an alternative and was told “no problem.” I later found out I was charged for these. My over medium eggs were over easy and ran all over my plate at a rapid pace, not what I wanted.
My husband ordered the hippy hash which he enjoyed. But not the small black coffee that cost almost $5.
Appetizer came with our salads. After finishing up the appetizer, and moving to our salads, the dinner arrived. The gentleman tried to set dinners down and we had to say twice, were not ready, take it back to the kitchen. We finished salads, then said yes, were ready for dinners. Food is always delicious.
I tried the seafood grill…this is NOT a $32 entree!
Unimpressed with the dry fish, few shrimp and tiny crab “cake”. With a few carrot sticks, dollop of rice…not worth what they charge. I’ll be back for happy hour, but not that seafood mixed grill.
