Very good food, friendly staff, and the restaurant has ample room for larger groups. We were the second or third group of ten people and there were still many available booths for smaller parties. The noise level was low so everyone could talk. The food portions were very large.

The restaurant had a nice ambiance, and we were seated immediately without any wait time. Service was fast, but unfortunately, our server was not attentive and made multiple errors with our order. We’re vegetarians and had asked before seating if they could accommodate, but many items we requested couldn’t be made vegetarian as promised.
The nachos with beans we ordered had flies sitting on the food, which they replaced. We also tried to order nacho fries, but they couldn’t fulfill it due to cross-contamination in the fryer. It’s worth noting they make their chips in clean oil each morning and serve those throughout the day. However, the street corn was cold and soggy, likely microwaved or left sitting in liquid. The veggie fajitas were mostly onions with no mushrooms, despite the menu listing them, and they couldn’t offer a substitute for the rice cooked in meat broth.
Overall, while the ambiance and quick service were appreciated, the experience was overshadowed by the lack of attention to detail and disappointing vegetarian options.

Flies, Mistakes, and Inedible Food – Very Disappointing Experience
Our experience at this restaurant in Muskegon, MI, was deeply disappointing. It seemed like the best option available, but even then, it didn’t come close to meeting our expectations. We ordered Double Veggie Fajitas, Nacho Fries, a pitcher of margaritas, and street corn. When the server asked if we wanted salt or sugar on the rims of our margaritas, we specifically requested two with salt and one with sugar. However, she brought all three with sugar, which was frustrating.
The fajitas were another letdown. They were loaded with onions but completely missing mushrooms, which were mentioned in the menu. This made the dish feel incomplete. The street corn was cold and practically inedible—it seemed like it had been sitting out for far too long.
Worst of all, the place was overrun with flies. They were constantly landing on our food, and we spent the entire meal trying to swat them away. It was unsanitary and made eating almost impossible. One of our dishes even had to be replaced because a fly landed directly on it. While they did replace the dish, it didn’t make up for the poor overall experience.
Sadly, we didn’t have many other dining options in Muskegon, but this place fell short on multiple fronts—poor service, unsanitary conditions, and subpar food. We won’t be coming back and definitely can’t recommend this place unless they make some serious improvements.

Miranda Grimm was our waitress this afternoon. Tuesday, Nov. 25. She was an EXCEPTIONAL waitress! Our friend was there before us because we went to the wrong restaurant, and I called and she answered the phone. She went and told our friend what was going on and to stay there and we were on our way. She was so VERY VERY pleasant and SOOOO kind to us! Served our food and made sure we were happy/satisfied but NOT obnoxious at all, just SOOOO sweet and kind! We appreciated her VERY MUCH too!!! It’s ALWAYS refreshing to see people who OBVIOUSLY enjoy their jobs/work as so many now days don’t want to or care if they work or not!!! PLEASE don’t let Miranda leave this job anytime soon!!! She’s a GREAT employee and deserves GREAT praise, ESPECIALLY today!!! Thank you Miranda for being wonderful ❤️ to us today! We look forward to seeing you again soon and you can be sure we WILL be asking for you to wait on us!!! Hopefully you will be working when we visit there next!!!

Had a somid meal here. Got the Carnitas which are solid. Service is a little slow between lunch and dinner but ill live. Chips are a little over fried but salsa is food. My only real critisism is they have no hot sauce of their own. Overall stop in. its pretty good

Hortchata was watered down. We were told we got the last and she would bring more when it was ready. That never happened.
Food was lacking flavor. We received flour tortillas instead of corn like requested. My daughter received the wrong meal.
When paying at the table to server waited and watched while my husband did each step including tip so he gave more than he should have especially considering all the mistakes during this one visit. We would not recommend or return to this establishment.

The menudo was pretty good – nice spice level but the tripe was a little undercooked. I’d try it again here though. The chips and salsa were great! loved that salsa! Service was friendly but I think they were understaffed on a Saturday night.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, we have not been here in a couple of years. The food is amazing, our waiter was great. He kept our drinks full and our food was served hot and fast!!! If you are looking for some good Mexican food this place is a great place to go for dinner, drinks and appetizers.

The staff is well-manned, featuring polite and efficient employees. Generous portions and reasonable prices characterize this place. We opted for the mixed fajitas for two, featuring steak and chicken as the proteins, along with a medley of onions and peppers.
