When I moved to the south side of Fort Wayne in February 2025, I began stopping regularly at McDonald’s – South Anthony Blvd for breakfast — often four times a week due to my schedule. In the beginning, my experiences were consistently positive. The staff members were efficient, courteous, and polite, and orders were handled quickly and accurately. I genuinely appreciated the professionalism and friendly attitude, and I even spoke highly of this location to others because of the quality of service I received.
Unfortunately, over the past few months, there has been a noticeable and disappointing decline in customer service. What was once a pleasant and dependable stop has become frustrating and uncomfortable. The final straw occurred on Wednesday, February 4, around 9:40 a.m. During this visit, the employees working both the drive-thru window and the pickup area were impatient, rude, and dismissive. There was no sense of customer care or basic courtesy — simple questions were met with irritation, and the overall tone made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.
The shift in work ethic and attitude has been disheartening, especially considering how well this location operated when I first became a regular customer. It is disappointing to see such a drastic change in service quality. Just as I was once quick to compliment this establishment, I now feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction and caution others. At this time, I can no longer recommend patronizing this McDonald’s location, as the level of professionalism and respect for customers has clearly declined.

It’s McDonald s. You know the menu. And the speed. 11pm crew was upbeat, handling their workload better than most these days. Had a mistake on our order and they prioritized as it should be and got the corrected order out in under 5. Great crew, hit em up

Went there for lunch with co-worker. Order was missing items. Manager would not help my coworker due to his ethnicity!! It hurt his feelings. Grow up and treat people respectfully. He was very polite to all the staff and yet they messed up our order…Just do better people.

While not busy inside their drive through was non stop. As I stood at the counter patiently awaiting service it was 7 minutes before an employee acknowledged my presence and took my order. The food was made quickly evidence in the picture in how my Big Mac was thrown together. There was also chocolate on my strawberry shake. As I preceded to sit down and enjoy my meal I noticed that every table was dirty and the floor was in need of sweeping. While the food and shake did taste good I think this place has a lot of work to do in order to be both customer friendly and a place I would want to return to.

We recently grabbed takeout from our local McDonald’s about an hour before closing on Christmas Eve. We ordered burgers, fries, and chicken strips. Unfortunately, when we got home, the food quality was a huge letdown. Usually, McDonald’s is pretty consistent, especially with their fries, and while the chicken strip was just a bit overcooked, the burgers and the buns were extremely overdone. My wife couldn’t even finish hers, and I had a hard time getting through mine.
I understand it was the end of the night and a holiday, but the last meal served should be as good as the first. Consistency is key, and this time, this McDonald’s really missed the mark. Normally, I’d give them five stars, but tonight, they earned less than one. Here’s hoping for better next time. We spent nearly $40 … complete waste, except for the fries.

The night shift takes so long. I was there for over 30 minutes waiting for my food. They had two intercoms and someone was on the other one and they grabbed their order before mine. Overall the service was a three. They took forever to serve our food, and the order was small. Also the line was so long. They gave us attitude the whole way. They kept playing on their phones and hitting each other and laughing. Not even making the orders. There were 3 of them, likely teens just playing.

My Friends and I went around 2 AM, the worker, he said his name is Will, was AWSOME! We had 3 mobile orders, so a lot of food… He was the sweetest and funniest worker I have ever met, despite our orders and how busy they were. Really made our night and I’m happy we could make him laugh!

I just wanna say that my food was made perfect! Not sloppy at all fresh and fresh fries! Even they showed love with the blue Fanta! I called them to give them they props but no answer! Great job guys!!

Made a personal order separate from my partner’s doordash pickup and was threatened with a doordash conflict because the trashy nightshift manager couldn’t differentiate between separate unrelated orders.
Will be running this up regional and corporate.
