I came to celebrated with my mom and we had an exceptional time. We got to enjoy a really good jazz band. We ordered what our waiter Lester recommended. I enjoyed some very tender and flavorful chicken and my mom had some delicious scallops served over a corn cream sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are trying to enjoy a delicious meal with relaxing music.

From planning to the night of our event, Kalypsos was the perfect venue. The staff was so thoughtful and attentive and they made our 25th reunion very special. The food and drinks were great. A friend and I went here to check out a band and grab a quick bite to share to go to another event and literally our food took over an hour to arrive, she left so I had to stay to wait for the food since I was hungry. Server only showed up to pick up the empty plate, never came to check on us, I asked everyone coming with food about my order since my server wasn’t on site since we ordered. Worse service ever and manager said, they run out of paper in the kitchen and also maybe server forgot to put the order in so all excuses then he said what do you want me to do? I said I wanted to know what happened but he never went to find out or care about it. Not my first time but probably my last one! The band Not the Fathers was the only good thing about the night in there!

Predictably horrible service (told to wait for our reservation, then told we didn’t have one, showed them then – allowed to sit and be ignored most of the night- only put up with this as we had our vegetarian person with us) excellent food, right in the middle of Lake Anne seasonal events. Maybe next time we’ll take a sampler to the brew house to be surrounded by friendly folk

Excellent patio, nice view of the Lake Anne. Good atmosphere. We visited on a warm day when it was too crowded, not enough wait staff. We sat in the patio and sipped our drinks. They brought out our dish and the second one never came. After more than an hour I went in and took the pizza we ordered as a take out.
The staff were nice, and did their best on a very busy day. Will be back, hopefully it will be a better experience.

Easily the best patio dining experience in Reston/Herndon/Sterling/Dulles. You overlook the lake as you sip your drink and enjoy some fine Greek food. Our go-tos are the trio dip and white pizza, although sometimes we just go with the crazy feta for an app. We could spend hours chilling here! The staff are super nice, they just get busy serving the patio. Still, no complaints here.
