It was mediocre at best. Our server wasn’t the friendliest, and didnt attend us that much either. 8 dollars for half a loaf seems a little cheap on their part. There’s differently better places to go to for that price point, id say skip this place.

I started coming here many, many years ago. And again, I left reviews, and they’re not here. So Google, I swear.

So now for my revisit, the food is still delicious. Whatever it is on the menu you want, it’s worth ordering. I’ve had the meat and cheese plate. I’ve had the fruit plate, the lamb chops. They know how to cook lamb. The lamb chops delicious, tender, cooked perfectly. The dips so worth it. The bread is made fresh for dipping.

Highly recommend this place and what I love the most is probably the best Mediterranean. If not the best that I’ve had in the Atlanta area and I’ve been everywhere from Midtown, downtown and around Sandy springs, you name it, this is the best and their prices are worth it.

I visited Cafe Efendi in Atlanta and dined in. About 40 minutes before arriving, I called the restaurant to let them know I was on my way and that I was in a hurry. When I arrived, we were the only customers in the restaurant. I was told on the phone that the food would be ready within 5 minutes, but it ended up taking around 15 minutes, despite clearly mentioning my urgency.

When we ordered ayran, the glasses served to me and the person sitting next to me were different sizes, which felt inconsistent and unprofessional.

At the beginning, I asked for a menu and was told to use the QR code. However, some items on the QR menu did not have prices. I then asked for a physical menu but was told again to use the QR code. When leaving, I noticed that there were many physical menus available. Not having clear prices doesn’t make sense, I don’t want to order without knowing the cost, and I don’t want to ask the price of every item.

The food was good, but I believe the service consistency and menu pricing should be improved to create a more professional experience.

We love Cafe Efendi, the food is always great and the service is wonderful too! The hummus and warm pita are the best in town. We sat at a booth in the bar area and had such a nice experience with Mohammad. He’s awesome.

I just want to add one suggestion… I have been coming here on and off for years but now we avoid sitting in the main dining area because the lighting is very bright and cold. Years ago it used to be warm and cozy. Please consider changing the lighting back to warmer, dimmer, incandescent bulbs. Atmosphere is such a big part of the dining experience!

Food was great and staff was super friendly. Server went over and beyond to explain whats on the menu. Meat was cooked perfectly and it had great flavor and it was juicy. Rice it came in soaked up good flavor from the meat. Turkish coffee was also phenomenal. I would definitely try this place again.

Ordered chicken adana kabab, the rice was so bad, it was mushy and runny. Their food quality has gone down considerably. Will be avoiding this place for some time.

My husband wanted to try something “new” for date night — a place we normally wouldn’t pick — and honestly, I was apprehensive. I’m not a fan of super loud spots or live entertainment, so I went in a little hesitant.

We arrived right at 7pm and were greeted by the warmest hostess. She seated us immediately and even gave us a choice between the main dining area or a quiet nook near the hookah section. Dinner service was just starting, so it felt calm and welcoming.

Our server was absolutely amazing — attentive without hovering, and genuinely kind. And the FOOD… was an experience all on its own.

We ordered the Meza Platter, Bang Bang Shrimp (this is now an official obsession), the Ribeye Kebab — so tender and perfectly seasoned — and the Lamb Chop Platter. Every single dish was incredible, which is very abnormal for me because I’m picky. Then dessert arrived… the Kunafi with honey and ice cream. Unreal. Soft, crispy, warm, sweet — just perfection.

What really stood out beyond the food was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. It makes such a difference.

Cafe Efendi is truly a gem. We loved everything, and it’s officially going on our date night rotation.

Didn’t get to take more pictures, the food was just too good.

Prior to our visit to this restaurant, we had read various reviews. We were not disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Our server, Gizem was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was highly enjoyable. We ordered the Mixed grilled Kebab with the Lamb adana and Lamb shish, which was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Appetizer Sampler were also excellent, with the Eggplant in sauce being our fav. We highly recommend trying the Kunefe dessert with their own turkish cheese & ice cream. It was absolutely delicious!!!

Amazing service! A clean and polished formal atmosphere. We did not try the Hookah while we were here. The food was ok- I REALLY loved the babaghanoush (although it was a bit pricey for the amount served). It left a deliciously smokey aftertaste behind. The chicken and rice were disappointingly plain, and I loveeee mediterranean spices. Dipping the chicken in baba ghanoush and the pickled beets (I believe) was really, really yummy though. The baba ghanoush does not come with pita chips, however, I think it would be worth the price if it did come with the pita bread/chips.
