Wonderful place and hospitality. Sushi was well prepared and nicely decorated. Enjoyed their seaweed salad.
Only complaint will probably be using too much sauce in the hibachi chicken.

Really great place for Sashimi/sushi. The service is very friendly and swift. The server answered all questions about substitutions. The atmosphere was very lively as there was a hibachi event happening. The price for dinner was very reasonable. The sashimi was very fresh and presented beautifully.

9 of us went there last night. Complete disaster!! Service was awful. Sat at table and waited about 30 minutes for drinks, and 1 hour for soup. Asked for water at the bar and was told to get it from our server which was the hostess that was not trained properly for either job. People that were sat after us were getting their food and were just getting our soup. We all ordered hibachi and when cook verified order with us before he started cooking, they were all messed up and out of order, wrong meats, etc… He then called the hostess/server over and explained sternly to him, in front of all of us, how to write down the orders. Never got salad, was told at the end, it’s now choice of soup or salad which cook wasn’t aware of. The cook was good, first day there coming from another Fuji we were told. Food was good except we each got maybe 4 pieces of vegetables . Brought all this up to owner, Benjy, and all we got was “uh huh, uh huh”. The hostess/server however, was very apologetic. Will never be back. Will stick to Fuji on Transit.

The sushi rolls were delicious. The Angry Bird Roll is my favorite and I’m definitely going back there for more. I tried the Chicken fried rice and beef Singapore noodles too… perfectly seasoned and satisfying. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the fried ice-cream ti be so good but it was the perfect ending to the meal.
The staff were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for Asian cuisine

Fuji Katsu is a great place to eat, especially during dinner time. You can be at the hibachi place, where cooks cook for you and they put on a show. However, you can also eat at the sit down place, where it’s like a normal dine in restaurant. I got the Tori Katsu and it was delicious. Service was amazing and one of the waitresses gave me an extra drink since I was drinking a little too fast! Will definitely try to come back soon.

We usually sit at the hibachi tables when we eat here and the food is always excellent. However, we didn’t have our kids with us the last two times and decided to sit in a booth.
Both times the food was mediocre. Our food came out in less than 5 minutes and it was clear that it was made ahead of time and perhaps kept in a warmer…maybe. The vegetables and rice were cold and the steak and shrimp were barely warm.
Tl;dr – eat at the hibachi tables

They were packed on a Saturday night so we couldn’t be given a Hibachi table. The food we thought was OK, but a little more on the pricey side. My son liked his sushi but he said he’s had better ones. My husband’s coconut shrimp was overly doused with Japanese Mayo and maple syrup(?). It was very sweet. But my vegetarian soba noodles were tasty. Our waiter was very nice though and the service was fast.

I hear lots about this place and went to USA to tried. Good taste good but service is no good. Cooking show is nothing is like basically no show. Just normal cooking. Good ingredients and food quality. Good portions. I will try one more time to see if they improve something

The Fuji Grill in Niagara Falls certainly sets the stage with an ambiance that promises an engaging dining experience. The good vibes and initial impressions suggest a culinary journey that complements the excitement and wonder of the falls themselves.
With a menu that typically delights with its flavors, it’s regrettable that such an oversight occurred with the chicken. Good food is a pillar of a restaurant’s reputation, and while the majority of the meal lived up to expectations, the discovery of frozen chicken pieces is a significant lapse that understandably detracts from the overall enjoyment.
While the experience started as a potential five-star affair, the frozen chicken is a reminder of the importance of consistency in the culinary world. It’s an unfortunate misstep in what could have been a flawless meal, leading to a revised rating of three stars. Feedback like this is crucial for them, providing an opportunity to address such issues and ensure that future diners can enjoy their meals with confidence.
