We went to Farmer Browns on NYE, we knew they opened at 5pm so we decided to get there a little before 5 to beat the dinner crowd. Ha! There was a line of about 100 people waiting outside. When 5pm hit it took about 10 minutes to be seated and only another 20 to get our food. When I say it was the best Prime Rib I’ve ever had, I mean it. The service was wonderful and the food even better. I cant wait to come back.
I had the Princess Cut Prime Rib with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. It came with bread, and a side salad. All of it excellent.

Went for lunch and the fish options were underwhelming but got the fish sandwich and it was so good. Large portion, very filling. The tartar sauce is probably the best I’ve had.
The Jalapeno burger was delicious. They full dinner menu has lots more steak and fish options but our lunch was great.
Service excellent as expected.
Women’s bathroom is by the front door. The men’s is to the right, past the bar just past the tv.
It’s a large venue. You could have a private party here, for sure.

Some of the other food we’ve seen, the food and portions look good. Tried a couple of the appetizers but we mostly come for the prime rib only. Very delicious.
We always order the hired hand (for the size and price to us a better option plus we have leftovers).
The house dressing on the salad is very flavorful. Garlic mash potatoes are creamy.
They get very busy but the service is great and they check in on you throughout your meal.
Can get a little loud with the bigger parties but overall great experience.

Great food, friendly staff and enough prime rib for leftovers!
Go early if you don’t want to wait, or show up after the rush.
Bar area is great for waiting and having a drink and appetizers can tide you over until your table is ready.

Service is top notch! Plan on being there early, or wait in line. We arrived at 415 on Sunday and were 30 people away from front of line.
Steaks were good. We will go back and try prime rib. Steaks needed seasoning and a grill mark. Salad and bread were good. Brownie dessert was good. We will be back.

Great service! An excellent variety of comfort foods. Budget at least $30/adult. All tables, no booths. Well lit. Crowded & loud. The bldg and interior are showing it’s age.

I went here for lunch and ordered their chicken fried steak lunch that came with green beans, garlic mash and a roll. It was delicious and the breading is exactly how I like it. Retro style decor and music, playing Frank Sinatra etc. Overall nice experience. And the server was really nice and friendly. Overall nice experience.

Great service and the food was excellent. Get there early since they don’t take reservations, but we still got seated quickly.

I really enjoyed this place ! I loved the fact that the waitress where older then 50 and they where doing great, very polite to the busing staff, girls and boys. The busing staff were clearing the table fast and then people got seated fast! Very good experience over all and the locals loved them and are reoccurring customers weekly.

Extremely disappointing! Exact opposite of all the “hype!” Salad was delivered with a live bug in it. Not a small one either! Server took it away acting like it was no big deal, and we never received so much as an apology or visit from the Manager. It was almost as if it was a normal happening, and they were either too embarrassed to address it… Or just didn’t care. Wanting to give them a chance to rectify it, we stayed for the rest of our meal. The fillet and prime rib were extremely over seasoned and very salty. The baked salmon was not seasoned at all… And virtually tasteless. The green beans and asparagus were not seasoned in any way, shape or form either! The best part of the entire meal was the barely warm dinner rolls served ahead of time, with ice cold butter that never melted. With the average entrée on the menu between $30 and $40, you expect a lot more when it comes to quality & service. As a retired restauranteur for 30+ years, I completely understand that restaurants make mistakes on occasion. The hard thing for me to swallow (besides the food) was the fact that we were treated without any sense of apathy or regret for our meal & stomach turning experience.
