As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I found they had omitted the apple pie from my order, which included two bbq brisket melt singles, one large coke zero, one fry, and one apple pie. The woman at the window seemed very hurried to get that pie to me. I received no receipt, and they usually give one.
When I got home, I checked my bank, and realized they’d charge me $29.89 for two single bbq brisket melts (which should have been $3.99 each) one large coke zero (usually $2.99), one order of fries ($3.29) and one apple pie (usually than $1.79). The entire order should have been approximately $17.00 including tax, on my debit card.
I called the corporate office to explain the issue: no receipt, and the gross overcharge. Corporate requested and was provided with a picture of one of the sandwiches I’d received. I was told it would take 2-3 business days to get a response. I waited a few weeks and called again. Eventually, I got a voicemail from someone who said something about “Checkers,” but her speech was distorted in VM, and her message could not be understood, nor transcribed. She left no name that I could identify, and no phone number. I tried to call back the number that she had called from, but after several tries, the repeated calls did not go through. I called corporate again, supplied the case number they had given me, and never heard back. I had asked for the name and number of the franchise owner, but my request was declined.
I’ve waited to post this review, hoping they would contact me and refund my money, or do something! Checkers corporate has not followed through at all, it’s been just over 2 months now.
I’ll not return, and I’ve told everyone I know about this. Perhaps they do this targeting seniors. Please, keep your debit card in your purse or pocket and do not use it for fast food, especially not at Checkers!
I’ve included a picture of the sandwich for which they charge $3.99, but I was charged more like $6 per sandwich. I honestly can’t see how they charge even $3.99 for that “bbq brisket!”
Checkers: do not ask me to contact at your site to comment, you’ve had plenty of chances!
I notice Checkers answered with their bot. I’m sure it’s a bot, because they didn’t even apparently read my post that says “…do not ask me to contact you at your site to comment, you’ve had plenty of chances.”
Luckily, this site is now closed! I’ll never, ever visit another checkers or related brand after having been duped by this one, as well as the corporate offices. (Read initial review and my response to their answer for details.)
I literally drove 45 minutes from Wagner to come to this location. I will upload a photo of that bacon Swiss Buford but I couldn’t wait till I got home to eat it. It was beautiful though.
