Oklahoma Joes is my favorite place to sit and enjoy ribs hot link beans, and okra. Washing it all down with some good sweet tea. Today I stopped on my way home to fill up on my favorites. I sorry to say that the ribs were nasty dry, warmed up from the day before, I could taste it. The beans were stuck together and dry, nothing like the juicy beans I am used to. The bread was heals and hard. Okra was perfect, and the sweet tea. This is the first time, and I eat Joes at least twice a week for lunch or dinner. I hope they were having a bad day, and were serving left overs for some reason. If this happens again, I will never eat at Joes again.

My Mom and I got the burnt ends dinner. Hers had considerable more meat than mine. We both had sweet potato fries and they were great! My green beans were a little bland. She said her cole slaw was really good.
Its confusing on where to go when you enter the place. Signs would be helpful.
You order at the counter and they bring your food the table. That’s the extent of the “service”.
IMO, its expensive for the amount of food you get.

We’ve been at a few other Oklahoma Joe’s in OK and KC. This one – top of the list so far! The atmosphere is clean and “happy”! The staff so very friendly and accommodating. A few of our group had never been and they really enjoyed it as well – so our recommendation was spot on!
The burnt ends were everyone’s favorite. Crispy and tender, smoked to perfection. The turkey was also a hit. Fried Okra – mmmm – you can’t get it like that in the north! One of our party thought the brisket was a little dry – but they still ate it. The baked beans were 10/10. Coleslaw was great too!
Hands down one of our fav meals we had during our week in Tulsa for a business meeting.

This is nice and well maintained restaurant. We had an event to attend in the banquet room last Friday evening . What a great place to have it at! It offered great seating, upbeat atmosphere, excellent food, and a wonderful attentive employee named Tanera. She kept our food coming and she made sure our plates were removed promptly. I even chatted with her about how GOOD those beans were and she said even her mom loves them and her mom makes a great baked bean dish herself! Oklahoma Joe’s you did great! Keep up the great food, clean atmosphere and good choice in employee’s. We will make another visit soon!

The food was fabulous. The pulled chicken pulled pork were yummy to the last bite. The white cheddar mac& cheese (would make Jerry mouse very happy and full). The cherry bread pudding was good but a bit too sweet for me. The sweet tea was on point as well. This is definitely going on my out of towner munchies list to take people to take part in.

Great BBQ! But here’s the thing: don’t go to a pork fight with a brisket knife. This is a PORK BBQ place. The ribs are great. The pulled pork is great. But the brisket is not good. It is dry. Sides are great. Get the beans.

When in town I enjoy getting me some Oklahoma Joe BBQ! This is my first visit to this location. We usually stop at the Broken Arrow location. This location goes to the top of my list for BBQ.

Food was served HOT and fresh. Large portions. And delicious. We had meat dinners and sandwiches.

Located in a strip mall setting and offers casual dining this place has the best bbq.
You will not find anything on the menu that you can’t find in other places but what’s setting this place apart from the rest is the the flavors.
After ordering, it was a very short wait before the server showed up with our food.

This was our first time trying this bbq place and unfortunately, we were disappointed. I thought that they were a little pricier than other bbq places but the main thing is, their food was just not that good. The catfish was horrible! Catfish is not square and it is supposed to be flaky. This catfish was very questionable, square and dry. Definitely just frozen from a bag. It looked more like chicken that had been left sitting under a heat lamp. We ordered bologna and sausage and were given 4 tiny triangle pieces of bologna along with a piece of cut up sausage that was very dry. It was a disappointment that we were given so little bologna since the sausage wasn’t good and left uneaten. I will say that the pulled chicken sandwich was really good and that was the reason for my 2 stars. The smokey flavor of the chicken was delicious. I really had higher expectations for Oklahoma Joes BBQ.
