I heard so much about mythos that I had to try it for myself. It was excellent.
I got the gyro plate.
The gyro is served with lots of meat, lettuce, onions and sauce in a paper wrapper to keep your hands clean.
And they’re very generous with the fries.
The restaurant is very clean and even at 2 in the afternoon it was half full.
That says a lot about the quality of the food.
It’s at the counter service, but they brought my food when it was ready.
The staff is friendly and it was a great experience.
I recommend it.
I’ll go again to try some of their other dishes.

At least once a week I have a Mythos Bowl. The veggies are crisp and fresh and that overnight marinated chicken melts in your mouth. I love the Spanokopitas so they are added for a next day lunch. Potato soup hits the spot. Their cheesecake and double chocolate cake are delicious and hard to resist. Eddie and the staff are genuinely welcoming and caring about customer care. I Love Mythos West Market!

This place was recommended for me. I enjoyed my first authentic gyro. The place focuses on Greek dishes but has a few other options. My friend enjoyed her sampler platter with salad and dessert.

Mythos Grill – A Greek Food Experience Like No Other!
If you’re looking for authentic Greek food with outstanding service, look no further than Mythos Grill on Market Street in Greensboro! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome and a smile, making you feel like family. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the menu without making you feel rushed—something you don’t always find these days!
Now, let’s get to the food—absolutely incredible! I ordered the chicken souvlaki and fasula, and both were beyond amazing. The chicken souvlaki was grilled to perfection—juicy, tender, and packed with bold Mediterranean flavors. Every bite had that perfect balance of smokiness, zest, and Greek seasoning that kept me wanting more.
And the fasula? Simply out of this world! This dish took me straight back to my childhood, reminding me of the home-cooked meals my grandmother made in Kosova. The beans were rich, hearty, and full of deep, comforting flavors—the perfect dish for any time of year.
Mythos Grill is truly a hidden gem in Greensboro. Whether you’re a fan of Greek cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place will exceed your expectations. Highly recommended!

Love the people here. The owner always remembers my name, and the long time staff always give a friendly hello when I pick up my online order. PS. Use their app to order so 100% of the $ goes to the business!

Very good Souvlaki (pork) platter. No waitress service until dinner, but ordering at the counter and having the food delivered to your table was quick and efficient.

Deliciousness. Great quality food, big portions, friendly staff, clean. My husband is in love with the salad dressing here and toppings are generous. Gyro meat is fresh and moist , not over cooked and dried out like some other places. Tasty Tzatziki sauce and the best part is that this place is really consistent. We can count on great food every time.

Wonderful little Greek restaurant offering a good variety of food quickly. Order at counter or curbside only for lunch. Table service at dinner only. I had the kebab plate with one chicken & one pork. The meat was well seasoned, but not overly so. It came with grilled pita and Greek salad with house dressing and tzatziki, which were excellent. Salad is mostly iceberg, which does not bother me, but I know some folks are particular. Pepsi products, tea and Cheerwine. Restrooms were clean at the height of lunch hour.

Having worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry, as a consultant for many years, I know (and am qualified to say) when a place is ‘exemplary’. I have BEEN and witnessed very few restaurants that achieve the level of quality and pristine cleanliness of this establishment. The owner is clearly a gifted and experienced restaurant owner, with unwavering standards. He not only takes great pride in taking the best care of his customer, employees, and his restaurant, but the food is OUTSTANDING! I cannot find any fault with his food or the services he, and his staff provide here. I cannot wait to eat here again. Next time I will bring more friends with me so that they too can experience this culinary gem on the Greensboro menu. I have only encountered this level of excellence a few times in my entire life. Highly recommended!
