Matt & Tony’s All Day Kitchen + Bar was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed brunch or casual meal. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, which always sets the tone right.
The wait staff truly stood out, friendly, kind, and attentive without being overbearing. You genuinely feel welcomed here.
Now the food, absolutely delicious. The scorched eggs were cooked beautifully, crispy on the outside with that perfect soft center. The breakfast burrito was a standout, especially with fries tucked inside, such a comforting and satisfying touch. The steak was flavorful and cooked well, though a slightly larger portion would have helped hit my protein goals, but that is a small nitpick.
Parking can be a bit tight, but there is plenty of street parking nearby if you are willing to circle around.
Overall, excellent food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Easily a 4.5 out of 5 for the meal, and a solid 5 star experience overall. I will definitely be back

I highly recommend this restaurant. The bar, cuisine, service, and decor are all exceptional, showcasing the finest ingredients and outstanding quality!! I can’t say enough about this place but come check it out. The avocado toast was phenomenal and the biscuits with gravy. Make sure to add some fried chicken. The BEST!! Ronny was the GOAT!!!!

As good as what people say. We went here for the weekend crowd and everything we had was really good. We had the scotch egg, smash burger, chicken fried chicken with potatoes and eggs, French toast, steak and eggs, and beignets. Service struggled at the beginning because it was really busy. We will return and try other items on the next visit.

Great food and great service. A simple yet fulfilling lunch spot. Best overpriced Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup EVER! Speaking for myself, they turned my early 20’s “poor man” dinner into an elevated and very flavorful dish fit for Royals. (Meaning you only get the best, and it’s my dramatic way of saying they transformed a grilled cheese and tomato soup combo from average to beyond delicious and I will order it again) Quality & flavor make the meal a success. All 3 entrées (see pics) were delicious… as mentioned, simple but fulfilling. Definitely recommend trying them out.

I stopped by Matt & Tony’s for breakfast and had a great experience. I ordered the classic breakfast, and everything was cooked perfectly. The coffee cocktail was absolutely delicious and a nice touch to the meal.
Tiffany was my server, and she was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
My only complaint is the limited parking, but it’s well worth it once you’re inside. I highly recommend Matt & Tony’s and will definitely be back!

We were able to get a spot at the bar after about five minutes. The waffles and french toast were so soft and the chicken was fried perfectly! We also had the St. Germaine Spritz and Ceasar Bloody Mary. We plan on going back soon.

It’s no wonder this place is always crowded! The food was very good and the service was overall very good. I almost feel like the space is too cramped for how busy it can get and the servers might be overwhelmed. That being said, everything we had was delicious. We ordered the shrimp and grits, crusted french toast with chicken, and the Cali burrito. Everything was good! I think every table ordered the french toast, but I advise ordering it without the chicken (you don’t really need it). For drinks, I would skip the coffee cocktails but the bloody mary was good. Make a reservation!

My girlfriend and I used to come here often, when I worked in the area. The food is great and consistent, which I think is equally as important.
It’s been awhile since we’ve visited, but stopped in yesterday for a quick bite. The menu has changed but the food is still great. Our server JaMor was attentive without being overbearing. Our experience yesterday reminded us why we used to come so often.

This is a really hyped up place and it’s been on my list for a while. My fiancée had the chilaquitos which were pretty good and came with a ton of food. She also got the raspberry zinger and loved it. Definitely something she’d recommend. I got the steak and eggs. Me being nosy, I looked around at other tables to see what people ordered and noticed a lot of people left some steak behind. That’s when it hit me that maybe the steak isn’t the highlight here. It’s a leaner cut, so it just wasn’t my favorite. Would be nice if they gave the option to switch it out for a different cut because I wasn’t a fan of the bistro filet.
The eggs and potatoes were both really good though, especially the potatoes. The seasoning was definitely there.
It was nice to try but likely won’t be back.

Came to visit Alexandria to visit my grandma for the holidays and I wanted to treat my boyfriend to a nice night out after driving 5 hours from NJ and this place did not disappoint.
The cocktails wete super yummy and the waitstaff was super kind and attentive. My food was good but not amazing but my boyfriend got the chicken and wouldn’t stop talking about it the whole trip. He actually left his left overs at my grandma’s house and was so distressed about it it was that good.
They have a parking lot thats about 3 tight spaces on the side but its easy to find free street parking so no worries there.
Overall I highly recommend!
