Our family has been coming here for years! We love the chicken they grill out front on the weekends. They have a great priced family meal on their chicken, good for feeding the family lunch or dinner!

El Ranchero Catering is AMAZING. 10/10. Highly recommend!
We hired Diego and his team at El Ranchero to cater our wedding in West Salem for about 140people. They were very professional, friendly, and eager to do an incredible job! The food quality, service, and pricing were excellent.
We started with looking at their restaurant menu, we told them our favorites, then we had a tasting at their restaurant. Diego went above and beyond with the tasting experience. Then, we sat down together and customized the menu for our wedding so it was exactly what we wanted (including dietary restrictions!).
The food was delicious and hot! Everyone at our wedding absolutely loved it. My mom said, the shrimp cocktail was the best thing she’d ever eaten. Our friends even went to El Ranchero the next weekend to order the award winning chicken that we served at our wedding!
They will include everything: tables, dish-ware, servers, drinks, desserts, you name it. Everything is customizable.
We are so grateful. You will love them too!!

I’ve been taking my family and friends for years, always AMAZING food… experiences…even when people visit from out of the state(I TAKE THEM HERE!)… yet, yesterday(yes, it was a weekend… “busy” but not overrun) I drove up from Eugene, brought my gal to EXPERIENCE the legendary Molcajetes… we were seated with menus… and that was the last the server(amigo)even looked in our direction. Usually, water… beans/salsa and chips arrive(…NADDA)… :/ sadly, after sitting there watching people come in for 2o mins, getting their orders taken before us… we got up and walked out. We drove across the street to “Los Dos Amigos” and had a 6 STAR experience… best ‘ritas too!

When ever I’m in the area picking up a burger, I make it a point to stop and pick up some meat, bread, and carnitas to go! The store is clean and well stocked with the best Mexican products and food in the area. The service is excellent and on my last visit one of the owners took my order. This place hands down has the best Mexican cuts and meats along with fresh Mexican sweet bread.

First visit I fell in love with their barbacoa tacos and champurrado. Second time here I wanted to try their quesabirria and it was really good: big,cheesy and great amount of meat. The broth that comes with them didn’t disappoint. So far this place became my favorite Mexican restaurant in Salem! You can also find a mini Mexican market and bakery, everything here

First time here. The food was fantastic and would highly recommend coming. Was interesting to find the other half of the restaurant was a bakery, deli, meat market. But our server was very attentive and friendly. Will be back to try other menu items.

I had ZERO idea the market had become an After Hours spot. I walked in and I noticed they had remodeled the dining area and looked so much nicer! They had a DJ playing awesome music and there was plenty of seating. They brought out an After Hours menu which had a number of drinks and food specials. I ordered these fish tacos and boy were they pretty when they came out and tasted so dang good! Three big tacos for $10…it was one of the specials. My cousin ordered drinks and they were equally as pretty and tasted really good too. Great, great presentation and taste. The service was over the top. Staff was extremely friendly and kept checking on us frequently. Even the chef came out to greet us and I complimented him on the amazing tacos. I realized they are barely starting to do this After Hours thing, but if you love reggeton, merengue, salsa and other great music along with excellent food….this is the place to hang out!

Amazing food and staff. The molcajete was so amazing. The charizo, the steak, the shrimp were so great best Charizo and steak I’ve ever had from a Mexican restaurant. And the birria tacos were so fire. Not overloaded with cheese like most places just the right amount of cheese but stuffed with meat couldn’t ask for a better birria taco and the birria dip was 10/10. Best Mexican food I’ve had in Salem in my opinion. And the bakery to is perfect for picking out some deserts for after your meal.. highly recommend everyone to come check this place out you won’t be disappointed
