Virgs restaurant is in a fun vintage diner atmosphere. Unfortunately, it’s getting rundown. The seats were very uncomfortable. The food was also very average. The bacon was delicious, but my pancake tasted like Krusteaz pancake mix which was disappointing. Our server was really awesome, which was the best part of the experience.

We highly enjoyed our breakfast. The Denver omelette was cooked to perfection. It‘s a kids-friendly restaurant and it‘s nicely decorated. There is plenty of parking in front of the building.

Very nice staff. Nothing amazing, not bad. Food is pretty good, and fair price. I love the classic diner layout. (think it used to be a wingers)
My main complaint was i think they were cleaning the bathroom or something. There was an extremely high smell of chemicals. To the owner, i would highly recommend dilute them with water, and or do this towards closing time for the fumes to settle overnight. We were seated just outside the bathroom, relocated several seats down, was still getting a headache from it.

We did an online order for a Lil Chicken Breakfast, Monte Cristo, and Biscuits and Gravy. My husband went to pick up the order and waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge him. Our order was sitting on the counter the entire time he waited. When he got home and we opened the styros, we discovered that we received 2 biscuits, but no gravy. The other food was great, but I ended up making gravy at home for the biscuits. Lesson learned… check the order before leaving the restaurant.

Lived in Ogden all my life and never have gone to this restaurant until today.
Breakfast was delicious! The waitress was super kind and understanding with us and our toddler.
Everything was great until the cashier was so rude to us. All we ask was if we could cash out to give tips cash to our waitress and she responded in a bad way.
Just for this cashier…. We never returning ever again and don’t recommend this restaurant until that unique cashier learns how be nice to all customers. That’s her job! If she doesn’t like it…. Then move to an other position so she doesn’t have to be nice to people.

*Update* We eventually flagged down the guy who we thought was our server and it turns out he wasn’t our server and there was a miscommunication between the staff. They took steps to make things right which was appreciated.
We’re still in the restaurant. We’ve been sitting here for 30 minutes, it’s not busy, and the server has yet to take our order in spite of walking past is several times.

The food is amazing! The service was good,large portions of food. Overall a good restaurant. The servers are always really nice to me and my family and they are always welcoming! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

While up in Ogden, we found this restaurant, Virg’s, with some pretty good reviews. If a restaurant has chicken fried steak and eggs, I will always try it. I love a good chicken fried steak. The price for these portions were great. The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked, great tender meat, the breading was nice and not overly done. The sausage white gravy paired very well. Finally a place the does hash browns right. Fried, slightly crispy, still got the potato texture in the middle and a lot of it. I got it with a side of toast and finished it off with the package jams. A glass of OJ to finish everything off and food coma hit hard. The ride all the way back to Provo was going to be a long one. If I’m up here again, I curious about their 1lb burgers.

An excellent place for breakfast on our long road trip across the USA. Very clean and the food was delicious and quickly prepared. I mentioned it to the waitress that the coffee seem to be very weak. She said “we actually prepare two different pots of coffee for customers, one less strong and one stronger, so I asked if we could have 2 cups of the higher octane coffee-it was! The coffee was delicious! In all, a great place to eat, and we suggest the French toast, scones, and bacon!
