Big Catz BBQ is a family owned restaurant specializing in smoked pork, brisket, chicken and ribs. We started off as a small home based operation and going to different festivals to set up before getting into the catering business and then in October 2015 decided to open as a full time restaurant. We have an event room to host special events from baby showers, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. We also feature an outdoor venue to host live entertainment and outdoor seating.

Great decor inside & out! Very cool tables and chairs. Nice looking bar. So much to see. Got our food. DELICIOUS pulled pork and brisket sandwich called Beefy Pig and Parmesan and Garlic fries. My wife got a brisket sandwich. The fries were fantastic! Definitely going to go there again. Very friendly service as well.

Well-dry burnt, corn bread is cold with hard butter-ribs charred but dry. Cheesy potatoes and onion strings are the best-this is three day old meat 30 dollars for a combo platter-with frozen fried shrimp. 25 for ½ rack of dried ribs-made two days ago, highly disappointed. Will never come back-and to boot they sever me shit rib tips vs the 25 dollar ribs I wanted. Over priced not worth the money, clearly they have cheated out on everything. Go try strictly souther in Silvis 100% better and less money- give it a year this place will be done.

A good barbecue joint. Got a pork sandwich that included one side. So I opted for the slower both were good. What was that good was the lukewarm beer I got I only took a few sips and left it. The cooler must be broken or not working that’s why you’re supposed to check food temps and refrigeration logs as a restaurant Owner/manager/staff. So I can say I’ve been there I done that and tried it. I know there’s more than one location so they must be somewhat successful. It’s limited options in the area so if you’re looking for barbecue, it wouldn’t hurt to go there nice atmosphere.

Love this place! We had fantastic service. The inside was nice and cool on a hot day. They have the best ribs around – the meat was melt in your mouth tender. The sides are all excellent- loved the baked beans. Can’t wait to come back again! They have a large patio outside for dining. The menu has tons of options as well as kids items.

Not too busy here on a Tuesday night for dinner. Definitely a hoping place to be on the weekend if your passing through. We are camping at the nearby KOA and decided to try this place out. The cheese curds were really good and the house made ranch was delicious. Both BBQ sauces were good. My husband got the Ruben with thin fried onions and ai got the brisket sandwich with the yum yum cheese potatoes (hash brown casserole) and everything was good. Not a crumb left on the plate. After a long day of hiking and driving I only managed a picture of the cheese curds and half of the Ruben.

Brisket was cut along the grain and very leathery. I needed a steak knife. Fair flavor. Green beans were described in the menu to have abunch of cool stuff… eh, they’re just green beans. I think our server was the only one working the whole place.

I ordered the catfish dinner with green beans with onion and bacon and baked beans. My sister ordered pulled pork, green beans and cheesey potatoes. The fish was mushy couldn’t figure out if it was not cooked all the way but was had consistency of mashed potatoes. Green beans were canned with chicken broth didn’t see no bacon nor onions. Baked beans were literally canned pork and beans canned kidney beans and Lima beans. No flavor at all. Pulled pork tasted like artificial smoked flavor with water soaked pork. Even soaked down with there( watered down sweet baby rays) bbq sauce still was terrible. Honestly tasted like they just tried to nuke the old food. Canceled the cobbler because was told she just put it in to warm up. Nope don’t even want to try it. It was very disappointing because I looked forward to eating Bbq and fish my favorites. If I could give it a negative number I would! I a good note the waitress was nice.

This was last stop on our way back from Gatlinburg TN trio. It was best food WHOLE vacation! First off, server was the best!!!! We thought he was the owner! Lol! Our food was absolutely delicious!!! I can’t say enough good things. I had ribs, beans, n yum yum potatoes. Yes they are yummy! Husband had pork loin sandwich. Delicious. Sister had chicken. Dessert to go were HUGE chocolate chip cookie with chocolate filling n chocolate to drizzle over at home. We had to leave the ice cream off since still traveling and added at home! Top notch service n food!!! Run….don’t walk there! Our server said he always leaves the light on for ya!

We stopped by the restaurant for lunch while on a road trip from Baltimore to the Twin Cities. A large party arrived just a few minutes after we sat down. We were concerned that we would have a long wait; however, our waiter handled the situation well. She kept a friendly smile on her face and got all orders taken care of and served quickly. We enjoyed our food and were back on the road without delay.
