So the saying goes in the south there’s a Waffle House on every corner. Haha. It’s true. We chose this one and glad we did. Greeted by two lovely waitresses. Sat at the counter to enjoy the real experience of a Waffle House. Ordered our food and was quickly served ! Food was hot and correct the city ham and cheese with a side of hash browns was delicious. The waffle was amazing and the eggs and steak were very good. The entire staff was so pleasant and friendly. Amazing service and great value for the amount of food served ! Make sure to stop in and say hi to these great people. Don’t forget to tip your waitress Carrie! She was terrific! Oh and grab an iconic Waffle House coffee mug for home!

Title: Two Waffle Houses, Zero Actual Burgers
Ordered two Angus beef cheeseburgers with lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions. Paid over $15 for just the sandwiches — no sides, no drinks. Was told that my order was placed at a different Waffle House down the street, which I didn’t even know was a thing.
After waiting outside in the cold to finally get the food, I got back to my room and opened the bag to find… two McDonald’s‑looking patties with cheese. No toppings. No grilled onions. Nothing I paid for.
If I wanted plain patties, I would’ve gone to the drive‑thru and saved myself the detour, the cold, and the confusion. Do better.

Swung thru for some Breakfast on the way back home and The staff was great! We’ve been eating at waffle house for over 20 years. And I always get the same thing.. the All Star special, add bacon and ham, and grits with the hash browns with everything and eggs with everything… This is the first time in over 20 years that anyone on the staff suggested that I get the omelet instead of the eggs. Every time I go to this waffle house i have a good experience. Today Wesley really made my day. He provided amazing service. He also found my headphones and ran to give them to me before I left. There’s plenty of waffle houses to choose from this is definitely one of the good ones!!

I would give e a 0 if it allowed me. My husband d and I walked in and sat down and there were 2 people standing waiting on a order and we waited and waited and not o ce did anyone greet us or say good evejng…etc….we got up and left. Very disappointed. Won’t go back to that Williamsburg Road (close to Capital Inn)location.

4JULY21 Back again. I love this location. The food is always PERFECT.❤️ And the service is always GREAT. ////////// The waitress was EXCEPTIONAL!!! As usual. Very attentive. She kept my glass of tea filled, a small matter that lots of waiters, and waitresses, seem to overlook. I left her a generous tip. And the food was DELICIOUS! I have always enjoyed eating at Waffle Houses all across the country and I think the crew at this Waffle House are among the best of the lot.
