What a chill place to hang with friends or your partner. The asthetics of the buidling are gorgeous. Like stepping back into time. My homegirl and I went to The Old Hang Out. Food was delicious and the staff sent good vibes the entire visit. They have a cool water feature you can have dinner by or plenty of seating in booths or by the bar. They were open til 2am on a Saturday. It was my first time here and I was definitely impressed by the building and the cool vibes at The Old Hang Out. There are several floors with different restaurants I would like to check out very soon!

I was expecting to stay at a Hilton or Marriott, and initially wasn’t too sure about staying in a location like this, but i grew to appreciate NOT staying in a Hilton or Marriott!!!! There were different restaurants on different floors, hidden rooms, lots of history, amazing decor. I actually loved the fact that it wasn’t the normal bland blah!!!! Food was good, drinks were good, atmosphere was good. I just wished there was an elevator for the lodging side.

We hosted a birthday party here for 25 people and somehow the staff managed to keep everyone fed, happy, and with a full glass at all times, honestly impressive. The semi-private space made it feel like our own party zone. The room was definitely warm, which may have been a blessing or we would’ve shut the place down. Food was remarkable as always, and whatever you do… don’t leave without bar-hopping the other bars. Absolute win.

We enjoyed a late lunch at McMenamins. I really liked the booths with the high backs they made it easy to have a nice conversation without having to raise our voices. I also love the overall look and atmosphere of the place.
The food was alright, but not great. They advertise gluten-free options, but they were out of gluten-free buns for the burger my husband ordered, which was disappointing. I had the crab mac and cheese; it was just okay. There was only a very small amount of crab, and the cheese lacked flavor. My son ordered the mushroom pizza and said it was a good vegetarian option.

Such a fun location to explore with multiple bars all with their own feel. The kind of place you definitely want to go back and see more. Plus, finding the hidden speakeasy can be a fun side quest!

Took my wife on an adventure play date before I left for a week of travel. This place is usually at least good if not great our favorite 5 story pub crawl. So perhaps this was a just a bad day for them, we had a decent meal with a so so unenthusiastic server, not bad but her vibe was pure Eeyore.
Then we had decided before our travel that we would make this our “home” pub to get stamps for our passport. Well that figures probably the kiss of death, we went to the bar to get a couple of.pints for our tour of the Temple, bar tender serving tables, ok no worry waiting, waiting waiting, bartender walks towards the bar makes eye contact and ignores us, walks next to us makes eye contact, ignores us, he walks back from the kitchen makes.eye contact again I guess you want stamps huh? , actually we’re looking for a few pints, he walked away from us.
He walked back behind the bar ignored us gave people who came in after us 2 glasses of water, he walked past us again. We waited… waited an little more then said screw it, we walked down to the store bought a shirt, then left and went to a bar that wanted our business!
This trip was pure frustration. Is management here from the Lighthouse location? Cause the service seems just like that place than what we have been used to!

Went here for a few drinks before catching a comedy show up the street. Great bars with lots of options. Environment was very nice for a date or a friends and family groups.

Cheese Soup was really good. Friend had the Dip sandwhich but the sauce was too thick and the flavor tasted a little overpowering and weird. Also, they ran out of ketchup! How does that happen?! Waited over 45 mins on a slow night for the food and had to get the waitress’attention and ask for refills. Also, the reservations were severely limited so we almost didnt go there to eat, but we were able to get the last reservation table for 2 at 6:45 and on arriving, there was almost Noone there! We thought they were gonna be slammed and almost didn’t go.

Disappointed this time 10-10-2025. This is our 4th time. 1st time was amazing about a year ago 5* second time a month later was great we will call it a 5*, 4 months later it dropped to a solid 3 1/2 * was ignored at the tiki bar for 30 minutes went to the ball room ordered food salmon salad was great service was slow and had to get your own drinks..today I ordered the terminator steak well let me tell you it looked amazing, now the bad it was 3/8 inch thin, had to be 6oz about 4oz after I separated the bristle and fat, about 8 bites of steak. Substituted. Fries for salad it was about 6 bites of salad, wife ordered the blackened salmon this is always good until today after 5-6 bites.. ohhhh there is a hair go to pull it out and it lifted the salmon off the lettuce. OK we done check…my Birthday dinner.. ended at another restaurant. Changed to a 1* from my original 3* because the more I think about it the more upset I get that I even paid for the steak. The steak = $5 steak from Wilco and I could have made it better..
