Phenomenal from start to finish. This was my first visit to Real Smoq’d and I was blown away. I walked in to a warm, genuine greeting and the customer service made me feel instantly welcome.
I ordered the Polish Girl, ribs, wings, and several sides, and everything was full of flavor. The baked beans, collard greens, cornbread, and fries were the true standouts. Everything tasted fresh and seasoned with care. The cornbread deserves its own shoutout because it is easily some of the most moist and delicious I have ever had.
The mac and potato salad were fine, but the stars of the sides were definitely the beans, greens, cornbread, and fries. And the portions are huge. You get more than your money’s worth here.
As someone visiting from out of town, this meal was a highlight. If you want incredible BBQ, big portions, and service that makes you feel at home, Real Smoq’d is absolutely worth a visit.

I had the po girl with a side of cornbread and it was amazing! The cornbread was moist, sweet and the perfect sized portion. The sandwich was huge and priced perfectly at $12. We are from out of town, but we will return next time we pass through

I am totally disappointed in this 40 dollar order I just received. FIRST, let me just preference this by saying I was there around 530pm. SECOND, how do you give anybody food like what I got. I ordered the ultimate platter with 3 meats(brisket, ribs and sausage) with baked beans, cornbread, mac and cheese and potato salad. I also got a polish boy. The pics will show you I am not lying. I got 3 rib bones. One of the bones were completely burnt so I got only two. AND, the ribs were tough. Gave that to the dog. The sausage was ok. No problems with that. NOW THE BRISKET. HOW DO YOU GIVE ANYBODY A PILE OF FAT AND A LITTLE BIT OF BRISKET AND THE BRISKET (the little that was left)WAS SO BURNT I GAVE IT TO THE DOG TOO. The Mac and cheese was mush and the potato salad had potatos that were too big. The polish boy was burnt too but I can deal with a burnt sausage, so it was OK. I drove 45 minutes to get that food in a snow storm and was totally pissed off. I wish I was one of the ones that got great food but I didn’t. I will not be going back as I wasted gas and money.

Amazing food with even better service! I got the brisket sandwich, mac and cheese, baked beans and cornbread. The brisket was piping hot, the beans had so much flavor, and the mac and cheese was made with love. The cornbread was on the sweeter side so it acted as dessert at the end of my meal. The woman who took our order was as sweet as can be!! The vibes inside were so fun with the walls covered with pictures and music memorabilia and there was great music playing. Definitely recommend if you need a filling meal, we will definitely be back!

Ordered lunch over their app for the 1st time. Order was ready quickly, in 16 minutes, 8 minutes earlier than their expected time. There’s a lot of BBQ options in Cleveland so I needed to try more.
I ordered the Brisket Po Boy combo with beans, potato salad and cornbread, with a side of Mac and Cheese. The brisket was tender and loaded with BBQ sauce, chopped slaw and fries. The sauce was balanced with light spice, heavy sweet, and tangy flavor. The cornbread is soft and cake like with a light crumb. Beans are sweet alone and have a spiced like flavor to them. Mac and Cheese was cheesy and soft and a great base for the rest of the food. Potato salad was cold and sweet.
Left with enough food for another meal or two. Very satisfied, would order again.

I stopped in for the first time today and from the moment my mom and I entered, Meli was pleasant, knowledgeable and made us feel more like family than customers. After our food was brought to us (which was a lot faster than I’d expected) Marlon came over to see if we liked the quality of it. Come to find out, he prepared it! It was reassuring that he wanted to make sure it was to our liking and his energy was awesome as well. Good sense of humor from both of them. I will ABSOLUTELY be returning!!

This place was amazing! Came here for a work lunch and we were absolutely blown away by how amazing the staff was The atmosphere and the food was off the chain! Mellie served us and the staff came out and greeted as multiple times. Checked on us made us laugh smiled and was outstanding. This is a great place to get food catered to pick up or eat in. The nostalgia and all the amazing things that make up this restaurant show you that they made a lot of attention to detail and care about the city as well as the craft. This is one of the top two places to get barbecue in the city. Do not miss it!

So I heard about this place from several people and was finally able to taste it for myself! They….did….not….disappoint!!! Meli & Marlin had superb service! The food was everything I heard about! I went out of my way to get to them and I was satisfied. Nice nostalgic decor reminded me of my trip to Nashville. I had the loaded mac&cheese brisket . The price was fair. We were visiting Cleveland celebrating a birthday and I saw this place on Tik Tok. Glo was the first person we met and she gave us the type of hospitality that made you feel like she known you for years. Chef threw down on the ribs, collard greens was delicious. With prices going up you definitely get more bang for your buck, it’s not like the fast food where you spend 20 and you’re still hungry. Definitely going again
