I’ve been going here for years!! Today was BY FAR the worst experience ever!!! My order total they said at the window was different then what my card was swiped. I get alerts and the alert was $7 and changed more. The manager says they didn’t run my card for more. I literally pulled it up on my bank app and showed him. He claims it wasn’t them! How the hell when it says hooks!!! He refused to give me my money back. I called my bank and whoever ran my card tipped them self!! That was not authorized and a report has been made! Ordered 10 shrimps and fries I got 9 and not even a full portion of fries. Rude girls at the front when I get for the managers name she said she didn’t know! The place was so Smokey from them frying . I will not be back at all!!!! Don’t pay with credit card here . See attached picture!

I mostly utilize the drive thru. I call ahead with my order, but it appears some people don’t. So, they hold you up in line while their order is being processed. It would be nice if people who place their order at the window, wait in the parking area, so callef in ready orders can be processed. They do this sometimes to be fair

Wouldn’t recommend. I asked for extra seasoning and it’s no where near extra seasoning. It looks like someone took a bite out of most of the chicken because where’s the meat. Just go somewhere else .$11.99 for nothing but skin and bones I’m hurt.

I tried the #1 Combo. I got the catfish with Shrimp. The meal came with fries, coleslaw and a drink. I was surprised that they had regular Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew Voltage. I went for the Voltage. The counter person was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the catfish and shrimp. I didn’t care much for the fries and coleslaw. It is unfortunate that they don’t make a fresh tartar sauce. They offer tartar sauce in pouches that was acceptable. The napkin supplied was practically useless.

Disappointing Experience
I recently had a take out order from Hooks and was thoroughly disappointed by the overall experience. The place smells bad. The food left much to be desired. There was a major lack of flavor. The fries were soggy. When I got home I had to reheat and season them. The “snapper” wasn’t cooked enough.
Not worth the money. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my subpar visit.

The food is delicious! Th snapper fila doesnt taste like fish so its better to stick with buying a whole snapper. Some places don’t sale whole wings and cost more but hooks sales whole wings . They have the best prices and full of flavor. Fries are tasty ,
Food is always fresh. The ladies are not friendly but the Manager the young man is always helpful and friendly . They are in middle of rebuilding the restaurant right now so there’s no place to sit you just have to take your meal and enjoy it in your car or at home.
