I arrived at this location at 9:00 PM to pick up a to-go order. The restaurant was nearly empty—only one table was being served, seated directly next to the host stand. Despite standing there for 15 minutes, I was not greeted or acknowledged by a single employee.
During this time, I noticed multiple staff members in the kitchen peering around the corner and pointing at me, yet no one came out to help. The waitress serving the one occupied table walked past me repeatedly and still did not acknowledge my presence.
At one point, the bartender came out, looked me directly in the eyes, walked around the bar, picked up a napkin dispenser, set it down—and walked back into the kitchen without saying a word. Shortly after, the manager came out with a laptop, looked me directly in the eyes, and also walked back into the kitchen.
Finally, another waitress came out of the bathroom and asked if I had been helped (which, obviously, I had not). I explained everything that had happened, and she apologized and said she would get my order.
Unfortunately, it got worse.
The same manager who had ignored me came over with an extremely dismissive attitude and told me they did not have my order, stating that because it had been sitting there for 30 minutes, someone else must have picked it up. There was no apology. Her exact words were: “Yeah, we don’t have your order. It was sitting here for 30 minutes so someone else picked it up.”
I explained that I had been delayed because my dog got out, but regardless, I had placed and paid for the order. Her response was, “Well I guess we could like remake it or something.”
I asked for a refund instead. She told me, “You should like maybe receive an email in a couple days,” then turned around and walked away.
I left the restaurant in tears and went back to my car, where my husband was waiting. After hearing what happened, he went back inside to demand both our food and a refund. Only then did staff suddenly become apologetic and claim they added “extras like dips and brownies” to make up for it.
When we got home, there were no extras, no brownies, and still no proof of a refund.
I rarely leave negative reviews and try very hard to be understanding, especially when restaurants are busy. But this location was not busy, and the level of disregard, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior was shocking. I’ve brushed off questionable service here in the past, but this experience crossed a line and needed to be shared.
