Love it here, this is the spot for the best carnitas and house-made tortillas, their waters are all good and worth trying all of them. You need to go and try it out for yourself. A must.

The carnitas are so fresh and flavorful. Love that they have meat only and meat/fat/skin options and homemade tortillas. Their red salsa is really good also.

Sorry but this place sucks!!! I’ve had dinner in different taco restaurants and this has been my least favorite. They are sloppy serving the food. Even the guacamole was black like you raised your prices and the lack of food is nasty. If u ask no spice they make it more spicy. Is horrible sorry but don’t eat here.

I ordered 1lbs of cabeza today. I got home and noticed that it had carne desebrada. I tasted it and it didn’t taste like cabeza. I called to let them know and the staff was really defensive, and by her mouth she said its shredded meat. This means that they mix their cabeza with masisa. I didnt get a sorry or we can fix it or anything and argued with us that its supposed to look like that. We bought this before and explained to her that its never looked or tasted like that. She said well next time we’ll just show you the meat before hand. For the price of the cabeza its not worth the extra money. Go buy somewhere else.

Umm… okay so it’s a little complicated! I’d give it a 3.5 or 3.75 because the food is good. But…
The food is really good.
The salsas are fabulous (especially the red one- nice & spicy)
The location isn’t perfect (it’s a busy intersection & God forbid you get stuck at the train tracks on the other side of the restaurant)
The place itself is small but they do offer dine in & there is one bathroom; it unisex but clean!
We’ve had carnitas, tacos, rice, beans, huaraches, sopes & gorditas with different meats. Our favorites are Asada, al pastor & lengua.
This location is their 2nd location. Their first and main location is in Melrose Park off of Lake St & 25th Ave & it is considerably bigger.
Only once have we had a bad experience where the rice and salsa were inedible- unless you prefer to only taste garlic in your food!
We often order carnitas for parties from here.
Always consistently good.
Maybe try their main location first .
Though I don’t think they offer things like huaraches there.!
