You should try their big serving of seafood platter! We also got the lobster bun and chowder, which were both okay. There’s a lineup during lunch rush hour, so plan ahead. Service crew were all polite and cheerful. They gave my toddler some crayons and coloring paper which were very nice. Food might take a while to come out during busy times, but understandable.

Had the dine around freddy experience so didn’t get to experience their more popular menu items (also note there is no vegetarian options except for the dessert for the dine around experience). However, food was delicious and I quite enjoyed the seafood fettuccine and the creme brulee. The lemon cream custard I wasn’t a fan of the fruit mixed in it. I felt they didn’t blend well together. Everything else was spot on. It’s worth a stop.

Had a business dinner at Woolastook Wharf and wow—what a seafood experience.

I’ll admit, I’m not usually a fan of the northside, but personal preferences aside, the food here was outstanding. I ordered the lobster & scallops fettuccine and was blown away by the portions—loaded with seafood, no skimping whatsoever. Prices looked a little steep at first, but after that meal, I can honestly say it was worth every penny. You can taste the talent in the kitchen.

Service was a touch slow (I would’ve grabbed another drink if asked sooner), but to be fair, the place was absolutely packed—and on a Wednesday night no less. Clearly, they’re doing something right.

If you’re in Fredericton and craving top-notch seafood, this is my #1 recommendation. Fresh, generous, and worth every dollar.

While visiting the area, I asked my hotel for a good seafood restaurant, and they recommended Wolastoq Wharf. I’m glad they did! I was seated right away, and my server was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. I started with the calamari and had the Lobster Haddock for my main course—both were absolutely delicious.

Water and fresh bread were brought out as I arrived, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere is cozy but well laid out, with beautiful artwork, a bright and clean interior, and even a lovely patio space outside.

The food was full of flavor, served in generous portions, and priced very reasonably. This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended! I’d suggest making a reservation if you’re planning to go—it’s clearly a popular spot for good reason.

UPDATE: I enjoyed it so much the first time and decided to come back for a second visit. The second time was even better! This is a MUST try restaurant when visiting the area.

Our service today started very, very slow. When we got seated, we were practically ignored for 15 minutes and didn’t even get to talk to a server about ordering or any questions.
Once we got our apps, I though things might start to turn around, but I was dead wrong. We ended up having to wait 1 and a half hours on the windy patio, and once again didn’t see any staff whatsoever for the whole wait, which we felt was unreasonable.
Finally, the food was only decent, with most items being over seasoned or somewhat bland. Overall, I would not recommend coming here, unless you have a lot time to burn on your hands. Infact, this experience derailed me and my family’s night visiting the area, and we will not be coming back next time we are in Fredericton.

Everything was delicious. Lots of seafood with the portions. Some classic dishes executed very well as well as some modern flavours too.
The Wharf is touted as one of the best places in Freddy to check out and it’s true

It started slow. They sent me to a table on the deck as I had no reservation. Then they forgot me. They apologized, and it went uphill from there. They served bannook and molasses. Interesting start.
I ordered a small ceasar as an app. Not bad, lots of bacon, but too much cheese for me. Then i ordered the lobster stuffed haddock. They hand roll this bad boy. Unfortunately, it came warm. I believe it would have enhanced the taste if it was hot. It looks great.
I guess they saw my disappointment because they offered free carrot cake.
I ordered the Wolastoq Amber beer. Lots of favor.
Then they came with the bill. They removed the main and didn’t add the carot cake. A little overkill could have done one or the other.
It seems to be a popular place, not full but very close. So this level of activity may be stressing staff. Management may want to do an efficiency study as the overall product is excellent.
It would be interesting to come back to find out if this was just a one-off.

While visiting a friend in New Brunswick we were fortunate to be treated to an amazing meal here. The staff are so pleasant and obviously happy to be there. Service was attentive and informative. Ambiance is classic yet there isn’t a need to dress up which we appreciate. The free bannock with butter and molasses is divine.

The food was hot, fresh and simply outstanding! The flavour, quantity and presentation was spot on.

The menu is extensive and would be appropriate for all tastes. We would need to visit at least a dozen times to try all the dishes that appealed to us.

We absolutely loved our meals and will return when back in the area.

One tip, make reservations because otherwise you may be disappointed. Several groups came in when we were dining and none could be accommodated. That speaks volumes in my opinion.

We arrived and quickly seated to our reserved table. The waitress was very nice and professional. Our food arrived hot and looked very appetizing. This has become our favorite place to go when we are in the capital. Our sister was home from Alberta so my wide and I thought this is the only place to take her and my other sister and nephew to enjoy an amazing meal. Hats off to there chef. We will be back again on our anniversary, we had told our waitress we were also there because we didn’t get up for our anniversary this year like we usually do. So it was nice to celebrate. A little late but celebrating belated we would. And so after our meal the waitress surprised my wife and I with a delicious chocolate dessert and hers was a gluten free dessert. There staff are number one. Thank you so much for your service.
