Some of the best fried fish and shrimp I’ve ever had. Stopped by on a whim because I saw the parking lot was pretty full and thats usually always a pretty good indicator. Certainly held true here. If I lived here in Payson Id be eating here twice a week. Two fine, enthusiastic s up.

Very good fish for Arizona. Nice crispy batter with good flavor. The Cole slaw was the star! It was just how I like it. We didn’t have time to stay and eat at the restaurant but they packed us up with lemons, vinegar and all the sauces along with napkins and forks.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations in terms of food and service. If you’re looking for a casual seafood joint while you’re in Payson, this place will hit the spot. I got the oysters & chips and my husband got the fish & chips, and we both enjoyed the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff. The oysters were bigger than I expected, and the batter was crunchy and wasn’t too heavy or thick. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in town. Great little spot. Looks like they’re pretty busy for weekend lunches, so keep that in mind!

Nice little place. Friendly staff and patrons. Food was good. I got the number 1 combo plate. 2 fish & 4 shrimp. Batter light and crispy and delicious. The sauces were really delicious and I loved the coleslaw too. Small plate of food, just the right amount for me and a decent price too.

I stopped here while I was in Payson and WOW! The food was exceptional, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stop for a bite. I got the #2 which was fried shrimp and fish, with fries – the portion and quality of food was a 10/10! I will be back! Also – I have to throw it out there that the owner was there, and was so nice… she was so involved with her customers. You don’t see that very often.

A family run operation, this spot did the trick for lunch! For fish and chips outside either England and in Arizona, these were delicious! The spot was clean, friendly, and the service was hardworking. I especially appreciate how the working team has patience for all of their crew members and support each others successes.

Upon entering the cozy family restaurant, I was immediately struck by the inviting atmosphere. The warm ambiance and friendly staff set the stage for what turned out to be a delightful meal.

The menu boasted a wide variety of options, but I opted for their signature dish: fish and chips. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and coated in a crispy batter that was simply mouthwatering. The vinegar and tartar sauce was so good. Paired with perfectly cooked fries, it was a match made in culinary heaven.

The food was amazing! My daughter wanted fish and chips since did not catch any fish at the lake….lol. Great place and good value for the large portions. We went with the number six, highly recommended. Also the bathroom were very clean and useful after a long comping trip. Staff was friendly and helpful since it was our first time there. Thanks!

Definitely 5 out of 5 stars! A hidden gem in Payson. The fish was done perfectly, and I’ve had fish & chips in London and the fish at Mike’s was even better! Fries were perfect too! Highly recommend. Nice outside area for enjoying your meal.
