From the very first bite, I almost teared up. The texture of the dough is about 95% close to the famous L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele in Naples. It instantly brought me back.
If you truly understand and appreciate authentic Neapolitan pizza culture, you’ll know this is the real deal. So grateful to have found this place. I’ll absolutely be back.
Since it was my birthday, my tiramisu had a little candle, and the staff even sang happy birthday—so touching and joyful.
The food was outstanding and clearly prepared with passion and skill. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, well-balanced flavors. You can tell that high-quality ingredients were used, and every bite reflected the chef’s attention to detail. Whether it was the main course or the sides, everything exceeded our expectations.
What impressed us most was how thoughtfully the staff cared about our overall experience. They checked in regularly, made sure we were comfortable, and were very considerate of our preferences. Their kindness and patience made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable.
My wife and I are recently back from a trip to Italy. We Spent several days touring around Rome, Naples etc etc.
While we were in Italy, we shared the classic Margherita Pizza 3 times in Rome and Once in Naples. And it is true what they say, the Best Pizza comes from Italy, where it was originally created in Naples back around 997 AD, so about 1030 years ago. But hey, I guess we were back in Italy tonight because our Margherita Pizza from Pizza Culture in Calgary AB may have been the best we have ever had.
Unbelievably Good Pizza !!!
We picked it up tonight and brought it home for our dining experience, but next time will be dining in for sure. Such a beautiful looking spot inside. And when summer comes around again, we will definitely be sitting on that outdoor patio with a nice bottle of wine. Can’t wait !!
Thank you so much for this amazing Pizza experience.
It was better than we had hoped.
I would highly recommend Pizza Culture to anyone that enjoys a perfect Neapolitan Pizza.

Im an ex-NewYorker, living in europe, pizza aficionado, visiting the family in Canada for the holidays,
I was taken to this spot with a lot of high expectations considering its strict adherence to the Neapolitan pizza guidelines etc.
I started getting worried when I saw other tables receiving their orders, the crust has absolutely nothing to do with what you’d expect a Neapolitan pizza to be.
At first taste the acidity of the tomato’s was so overpowering. I get that they used DOP tomato sauce, however its on the chef to make some adjustments to balance things out. I thought that dough was not stretchy enough and didn’t have that classic Italian pizza chew.
The Pizza was forgettable.
That said, to produce a pizza while sticking to high quality ingredients, there has to be love and passion behind this place, so much respect to the owner.
I’d like to end this with a little story, in New York, Iived by Kestè, one of the best neapolitan pizza’s in this city. They used to have $5 margarita pizzas before 3 pm. You could order 10 if you wanted to, and you could take it home. The fact that the waitress pointed out that their $15 dollar margarita will not be allowed to be taken in a box if you didn’t finish it while dining in, has to be one of the most ridiculous things I ever heard.. Food waste is such an issue in the food industry, and here you have an owner enforcing a no-take-awayrule.. smh
The Real Jeremiah Pizza was an absolute standout. The Genoa salami was savoury and perfectly crisped, paired beautifully with creamy mozzarella. The Calabrese peperoncino flakes added just the right amount of heat, while the drizzle of local honey brought a subtle sweetness that tied everything together. Finished with fresh basil on a perfectly blistered, airy crust, every bite was bold, balanced, and incredibly satisfying.
The Toscana Pizza was equally impressive and wonderfully layered. Roasted mushrooms, garlic, and mozzarella created a rich, earthy base, while fresh arugula added a peppery brightness. A squeeze of lemon and a delicate drizzle of truffle oil elevated the entire pizza, making it both indulgent and refreshing at the same time.
We also shared the house-baked focaccia, which was excellent! warm, airy, and crisp on the outside, and absolutely perfect dipped into the olive oil and aged balsamic. Simple, rustic, and done exactly right.
The Orange, Fennel & Walnut Salad was a refreshing highlight. Crisp fennel, juicy orange segments, candied walnuts, and dried cranberries over fresh greens were brought together with a bright orange vinaigrette that balanced the richness of the pizzas beautifully.
From the food to the overall experience, Pizza Culture clearly takes pride in what they do. Thoughtful dishes, exceptional execution, and flavours that linger long after the meal. Highly recommend, we’ll definitely be back.
