This pub had the best bangers and mash I’ve ever had! The dish was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The lamb curry was also divine. The sticky toffee pudding with vanilla gelato was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Wish I could come back sooner!

This place is always amazing. My husband and I go here for dates pn occasion. We went there yesterday and had fish and chips. The fish is so fresh. This is probably the best fish and chips I have had in town. I always sit outside and it’s always very clean. The waitress we has was amazing. She was very enthusiastic about the drinks and food. Love this place so much!

Just tried Royal Peasant for the first time today, and I can understand why it is so popular. The food was really good and came out quickly. The menu is small, but it made the choices less overwhelming. We sat inside which can get a little loud with the bar although we still had a great time. There is an outdoor seating area that I think allows dogs. I got the bangers and mash plus sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The only potential downside is Royal Peasant has a small parking lot so it can sometimes be difficult to find parking.

I had a wonderful meal at The Royal Peasant! This cozy English‑style pub in Five Points serves up flavorful British and London‑inspired dishes with great care. The excellent Google score brought us in to the Royal Peasant and I’m glad it did. Excellent food and friendly and efficient service from Alexandra. We enjoyed everything we ordered including the Nicoise salad, a burger and bangers and mash.

The food was good, however, it’s not something that I would go out of my way to get. I also didn’t necessarily agree with the price, considering one of the dishes being a little expensive (we only got a few pieces of protein on that dish).
The drinks were okay, however, I would love to see more of a variety of different drinks and a better emphasis on the bar program.
One last thing, the place needs a food runner or at least a host because it was a little busy and the waitresses and bartender were slammed and could not attend to everyone in a precises amount of time. However, I am aware that the bartender and waitresses are doing their best to help everyone out, so therefore I gave the service a 4 out of 5 stars.

Such a cool place. Great local vibe. We had the Lamb curry and it didn’t disappoint, incredibly tasty. Only place we have found in years that had Duchesse du Bouregogne on tap. Very friendly staff, highly recommend.

Fish and chips. ~For 19 bucks, the two pieces of fish were tiny and thin, not much flavor. It was not cod, probably something nasty like tilapia. The fries were not nice and thick like shown in the photograph, they were more like McDonald’s fries. I ordered a coffee with Bailey’s in it, it came out tepid, they didn’t warm it up beforehand. I asked the waitress to warm it up, it came out only slightly warmer.
I went within English friend of mine. He had some sort of lamb dish over rice. It wasn’t a generous portion, but he did seem to enjoy it.
Sticky toffee dessert. Some sort of cake drenched in liquid toffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate chunks. Very good.
I then had a cup of Earl Grey and, you guessed it, the cream was ice cold and that made my tea warm instead of hot.
The service wasn’t very good, I don’t think the waitress ever checked back, we had to constantly track her down.
Next time we go “down the pub for a pint,” it won’t be there.

I ABSOFREAKINLUTELY LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!! Superb employees always a smile and dinner entertainment (I mean by other patrons) I’ve had a hard time trying something new off menu because I’m hooked on pork belly appetizer and bangers n mash.
