Went thru around 1:30 and placed my order, that’s when thing went bad. They kept repeating things I didn’t order when they read it back to me. Finally got it right, or so I thought. Pulled forward, one truck in front of us, waited over fifteen minutes before they got their one bag order and left. Finally got our order, we pulled away and started checking the order. We ordered four items and they got only one right. The food wasn’t even hot after waiting so long. We’ve lived in Oak Ridge for over fifteen years, and this is by far the worst service, food, and experience we’ve ever had there. Don’t know if I’ll go back.

These guys are always great and fast – late gets a bit slower but they get the job done. Only complaint is sometimes their ice cream machine is down late when I want it most. Always use the app for better deals.

Y’all BELIEVE these bad reviews on this business! They are rude, incompetent, absolutely NO customer service skills whatsoever,nasty mouthed and the managers point fingers at each other and belittle each other when the other is not there. Just trash! And I’m not even talking about the food. Parents, I wouldn’t let your kids work here. They will not learn any communication skills when it comes to customers and that leadership has no value. I guess Eli Boyette doesn’t check what his customers are saying. He can’t be because the reviews that customers are saying are not encouraging him to address the ABUNDANCE of issues at this location. I am sure my review will not bat an eye either but I will say again to the good parents who’s teens are getting jobs. AVOID THIS PLACE AND ITS DRAMA.

Oak ridge Sonic is a constant disappointment, we keep trying to give them a chance, but 27 minutes to get 2 d sodas, 2 shakes, and 1 sandwich. Then waited 5 minutes for requested spoons that never came. Not the first time they have screwed up, we waited 45 minutes for one for 1 sandwich that was left of an order was supposed to be a double bacon cheeseburger, when brought out it was a bun and 2 patties that’s it. It would have been cheaper and faster to go to a stuff down restaurant. They never refunded the price of the burger they never made even after calling. Do not trust this sonic.

I absolutely hate the Oak Ridge Sonic. Honestly I’m amazed that they stay in business with how poor their customer service is. You can sit up to an hour and a half and still not receive what you’ve ordered. Just today I ordered two meals and sat for over an hour and then when I push the call button again they apparently lost the order or something? And then they said that they would make it and bring it right out and I waited for another 30 minutes. Then I’m finally getting to enjoy my food only they forgot to add a cheese cup for my pretzel. So I pushed the button again telling them that I needed my cheese cup and I have been sitting for at least 15 minutes and finished the rest of my food just waiting on a prepackaged cup of cheese. Every single time I come to this location it’s something stupid like this. The wait is always insane and the employees obviously can’t get their crap together.

I visited the Sonic in Oak Ridge and ordered 2 route 44 drinks. I placed the order and checked in on the app at 4:52p (check the timestamp at the top of the receipt). The carhop clocked/scanned (the terminology is different depending on location) the order at 4:53p (check the time stamp under “payment”). At 5:02p (10 minutes after ordering and 9 minutes after the carhop said the order was ready to go out) I finally drove to the empty drive thru line and had to ask them about my order. The order was done, amd had been done, but no one brought it out. My assumption is they “completed” the order to help with their service time but forgot to ACTUALLY COMPLETE THE ORDER. Just one of many times that this has happened at this location. Tired of it happening consistenly and I am hopeful that someone in management will see this and fix something. I worked for years as a manager at a sonic and this was never acceptable. Whenever it did happen, it came with an apology. The only thing I got was a “Here you go” and the drive thru window closing. Quite the customer experience.

Worst sonic I’ve ever been to. Portions are smaller everytime, the drinks are always poorly made, you wait on food 10 extra minutes for it to be cold when it comes out. Also, what sonic doesn’t give syrup when you order French toast stick? My coffee was so watered down it didn’t taste like cream or coffee. Instantly poured $4 out the window after not eating my French toast sticks because they didn’t give me syrup (which I got because the burritos are sorry and would cost $.30 to make at home with the amount of food on the tortilla. The girl who brought the food was sweet, points to her for that.

Dasher went to pick up the order and they simply told him they refuse to make the order and proceeded to never cancel the order, causing me to contact customer support through door dash, My dasher was really nice about everything and tried to help. They refused to talk to my dasher about what to do with cancellation and just ignored him the entire time he was there. Very upsetting the one place I like to get slushies and sweet treats from acts like this.

I am writing to formally complain about a recent experience at the Oak Ridge Sonic location. After placing a DoorDash order, our driver waited for over an hour without any response from the staff, despite pushing the service button. When I called the restaurant for an update, the employee who answered was incoherent and unprofessional; he mumbled a response and hung up on me. Subsequent calls went unanswered. We eventually canceled the order after a two-hour delay. The lack of professionalism and total breakdown in service at this location is unacceptable. Avoid this location.

The night crew at this location is the absolute worst of ANY restaurant I have ever eaten. They simply don’t care and are argumentative about how your burger could possibly be cold when the app said it was ready 15 minutes ago and you are the second car in line. They could care less about serving hot quality food and they care even less about customer service. 5 bad orders in a row and counting.
