Shout out to Christine! You rock! Absolutely the best service we’ve ever had from any location. Thank you for helping us with the food choices too. The nachos were awesome and so was the brisket. The onion rings were definitely better than most places. The link sausage i was not a fan of but hey no complaints here. The baked beans tasted smoked and sweet. The cookies were good. I know other people have their own opinions but today was a good day!

4.3★’s well its a chain fast food B.B.Q. place was recommended by a local. As I like to find out where the locals go. That guy was not a fat man. I should of known his recommendation was going to be bad. We all know that a fat man knows where the best foods at. I will say the Alabama white sauce was pretty damn good.

Full Moon BBQ is a beloved local barbecue favorite that delivers classic Southern smoked flavor with a down‑home, casual vibe. From the moment you walk in, the smell of hickory smoke sets the tone for a meal that’s all about comfort and tradition. The menu focuses on barbecue staples done well — tender pulled pork, smoky turkey, juicy ribs, and hearty BBQ bakers topped with your choice of Full Moon’s signature sauce.
The sauces are a highlight: rich, tangy, and well‑balanced, they complement the meat without overpowering it. Sides like baked beans, creamy coleslaw, and their famous Half Moon cookies add comforting, familiar flavors that round out the meal. Portions are generous, making it a great value if you’re looking for a satisfying, no‑frills barbecue fix.

Fantastic little spot, high recommend this place. Great food, service, and atmosphere. They’ve got drafts, drive thru, and sit down options.(In and outside sit down options) Clean, delicious, and inviting. Kid friendly, plenty of parking, right off 280.

The pull pork sandwiches appears to have been downsized…they are smaller and prices have increased.
I think this is related to higher prices of food and the margin to make ends meet as well as profit. My last visit I had to wait quite a while in the drive thru for 3 sandwiches. They were not hot and the frys were lukewarm at best.. im 5 minutes from home and had to nuke my food.

New in town. Stopped by to give this place a try on Wednesday and came back the next night because it is simply that good. Amazing service, amazing food, great atmosphere. All around an amazing experience and some of (if not the best) Bbq I’ve had in the state.

Had the opportunity to visit this highly recommended establishment finally. The staff team and management are so friendly and polite. The restaurant is kept clean, sanitized, and well organized. The menu is easy to read and choose a great selection from their diverse menu of southern cooking. The food arrives with great presentation from their skilled chefs at just the right temperatures. I recommend their freshly brewed iced tea to keep you hydrated. The beef brisket has amazingly great flavor even without the sauces added. They have a good selection of BBQ sauces to add though if you do decide to kick the flavor up a few notches. Thank you Full Moon BBQ for keeping it real and’s not disappointing the hype! 🙂

Delicious food and beyond amazing service. I got the baked potato with brisket. It was enough for 2-3 meals. Meat was tender and the potato was cooked spot on. Customer service was by far the best I’ve seen. Went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. Definitely recommend coming here for lunch or dinner.

I don’t believe I’ve ever left a review but this one seems deserving. Ordered a chicken plate and under the chicken was a dip pouch.. soaked into the juices. It was absolutely disgusting. I called and spoke to a manager just so he could be aware and was met with an utter lack of care. All he could tell me was no one there dips.. no one there does that.. yet it’s sitting in my food prepared by them! The dip pouch was obviously disgusting but the lack of customer service and care was more disgusting

Someone in Sylacauga told me this would be a great place to eat. He was right! I had the pork and brisket combo with greens and deviled eggs. I was asked by a KC friend to report out on “Alabama White” sauce. I was so busy enjoying the good food that I didn’t want to stop and type about the sauce.
The greens had an excellent flavor. The meat was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
The seating was fast food style. But this is a BBQ place. I wasn’t expecting a tablecloth.
