We we’re staying downtown for an event. We drove by this location and caught our eye so we decided to make a reservation which was confirmed on our end. Initially they said they never accepted our reservation but, they managed to find us a seat at the bar. Since it was an Irish Pub we felt like that was acceptable. Turns out it was trivia night at the location and they had tons of people filling every seat in the house. We still made the best of it and ordered a variety of appetizers and a couple of beverages. Overall, he had a good experience and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again when in Atlanta.

A friend of mine wanted to celebrate their birthday with a birthday brunch, so I actually suggested Fado to them. They called ahead for the correct table number, and this was multiple days in advance. Fado confirmed their table reservation, so everything seemed ready to go. Day of, we all got there and there were not enough chairs, so we adapted by grabbing some chairs from nearby empty tables, and the wait staff approved our use of these extra chairs seeing as the table arrangement did not have enough for our party.

One member of the party arrived a little later, so she went to another table and received approval from a staff member to borrow a chair from that table. After using the chair for OVER half an hour, another staff member came up to our table, and tapped the person on the shoulder. She very rudely asked, “Did you grab this chair from that table? Because it’s that reservation’s chair, not your chair” Then, she proceeded to start pulling the chair OUT FROM UNDER the person sitting in the chair, before even letting them stand up, and left with the chair. When asked where we could get another chair, the staff member proceeded to say shrug, and say “well you can ask those people if you can take their chair” She nodded towards a table WITH people sitting at it.

No extra chair was brought, and there was no follow-up. We ended up going to the outdoor patio to grab a chair for this person. The entire table was genuinely stunned because we had never seen service like that ever.

Also, this is a separate note, but if you are going for the brunch; go ahead and help yourself by not ordering the avocado toast. I don’t know what happened, but the bread was cold and barely any avocado. They covered the lack of avocado with heaps of arugula, and that’s not even mentioning the lack of radish or peppers which is listed on the menu. I had to ask for butter to put on the bread.

I would like to note that the server who was assigned to our table did a wonderful job, and I truly appreciate how accommodating she was to our big party. Seriously such a trooper!

Probably one of the nicest Irish pubs I’ve been to. It’s everything you can expect from a pub- loud, rowdy at times if an ATL sports team is on.

It’s bigger than it looks from the outside. But it’s pretty clean and a bit more elevated than the typical dusty pub.

The food was decent. I just had a chicken and pear salad but I actually really enjoyed it. It’s nothing over the top but can make for a decent meal. We came in Friday night so it was judy and the service was slow.

Great local spot right by CNNs new studios. Guinness is a bit pricy vs ireland and served colder. Also check out these crazy mixes, you’ll get kneecapped in NI for putting champaign in Guinness!!

Glad this week is the break in six nations so I won’t miss another one. Go Ireland!!

EDIT: they served our spice bag in an ACTUAL bag. ‍♂️ very good though

Second time dining here and both went great. This time our server Hunter went above and beyond to make our dinner experience a great one. Each thing he recommended from the appetizer to the entree turned out delicious.
The burger here is just divine, full of flavor and the addition of egg really makes it hearty.
The ambience is very chill and a great spot to celebrate with family and friends.
Their happy hour which lasts till 7 is well worth the trip on its own.

After walking into another restaurant & being completely ignored even though that restaurant wasn’t busy in the least, we on a whim decided to try here. And bc of the game in town, they were super busy but even with that, we were greeted warmly by our waitress Shay (sp?) within moments. The food was top notch and we were also checked on by another staff member just in case. I highly recommend this place. We got the chicken sliders and the wedge fries plus I got a whiskey cocktail. Everything was fantastic. Will definitely revisit!

This isn’t like other Irish pubs. It’s spacious, open, not overly busy at most times and days. Food is average. Keep in mind it’s just my opinion. Buckhead is much more authentic.

Fado is such a great spot. They are always accommodating and the food is fabulous. I personally love the fish and chips and the pup burger. The chicken tenders are also on point. It’s a great spot for a drink or dinner. And don’t miss out on the brownie sundae – I’m addicted to it now.

We tried really hard to like this place. We found it after searching for somewhere to watch the UGA GATech football game. The first impression was good, and we were seated quickly in the very pretty Whiskey Room. We were told we were welcome to watch the game, and there was another group there to do the same.

Unfortunately, that is where things went downhill. We were given water cups that had very obviously not been cleaned well – all three had remnants from the last guest. My wife’s had lipstick on it, and even when we asked for a new cup, it was very cloudy and had lip marks on it.

The food was good, although very expensive for what it was. We ordered several appetizers for the table, but before we could get our entrees, we were informed they had accidentally sat us in a reserved section. We were told we had 15 minutes to give up our seats. While we were not offered to move to a new table, we were allowed to move to a table nearby after requesting to do so, given we had not even ordered our entrees yet.

While we continued to order food and dessert throughout the game, and the table that had been watching alongside us did not have any trouble, we were asked to leave the restaurant with only a few minutes left in the football game. The server, Joe, was generally rude to us, and he clicked the highest tip on the check out screen before he handed it to me.

I would not recommend this restaurant, especially if your goal is to watch and enjoy a game while having food and drinks. There are much better options out there that appreciate their customers and clean their dishes.

Great time here for sure. I enjoyed the boxty quesadillas and a soft pretzel while knocking back some Guinness. The atmosphere is worth the drive alone. Makes me feel like I’m back in Dublin.
