Stopped in close to closing with a group in town for a work event. We were riding scooters to different places. The staff was amazing and gave lots of recommendations. Started with Garlic Knots which were good along with the salad. We ordered and shared 3 pizzas which were outstanding. The pizza dough was really good. We all enjoyed a great meal.

We went to dinner at Hawthornes’s New York Style Pizza. We arrived just about 20 mins before closing, but they welcomed us right in. We were literally the only people in the restaurant. The staff was very nice and made sure that we got the right experience.
We order 3, 18″ pies that included the tomatoes basil, Luau, and the Crew. They were all great pizzas and we had a side salad and garlic knots.

Went today with my daughter. And wow they really have stepped up their game. $3.50 drafts! In southend!! The pizza rolls were great and the kids pasta was the right balance for my toddler to love it. Portion was big for kids which was perfect to take home for dinner. Our server was extremely nice. We sat outside and when it got too hot she helped us sit inside without and issues. Always checking on us and refilling my beer. Really impressed. Will be going back.

The food was fantastic! I got the calzone and garlic knots and friend cheesecake and they were all 5-stars. Would highly recommend. Usually when I get calzones they over stuff it and there’s so much sauce that after the first bite it’s just pouring out and it becomes just very difficult to eat and just too much. This one wasn’t like that at all. The dough was great and the filling was perfect. You can get whatever filling you want too. The garlic knots were also perfect, and the fried cheese cake was as good as advertised.
The atmosphere was really solid. It’s a sit down restaurant with full server but not too fancy. It’s nicer than a standard pizza shop but not as upscale as an Italian restaurant. The prices were also very affordable. For what you pay the quality is fantastic. We would definitely come back here again.

I have been to this place about 100 times. The food is good, service is excellent. Tiffany really goes far and beyond! It feels like a welcomed breathe of fresh air every time I go. Tiffany really does a fantastic job of knowing the menu, the specials and deserts! If I could give her and hawthorns 10 stars I would!

The food was delicious! We had the deep crust personal pizza. It was really big! And tasty. Also the lasagna was good. Our server Tiffany was an absolute delight!! She was so friendly and helpful. I hope she is there, when we go the next time.

Very tasty New York Style Pizza. I was passing through Charlotte on I-77 and was happy you find this place just a few minutes away from the Interstate. I called ahead and was able to find a parking spot and picked it up with no problems. This is worth a taste if you love a NY Style Pizza Pie!
