New to the area and wanted to support any and all local businesses within my new town. I’ve tried several times in which each time a different item on the menu. Each time the food is okay or decent at best. I’m greatful to have them as an option as it close to home but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there.

I usually go to another Chinese restaurant but discovered that this one doesn’t cook with MSG, which is very important to me, and is a lot closer to where I live. I tried it for the first time tonight and it will be my last time. First off, they didn’t have Chow Fun, which is what I wanted, so the guy suggested I could order Mei Fun and told me that the noodles are just smaller. Not true, they’re totally different. I didn’t enjoy that at all. Their crab ragoons barely have anything in them. DO NOT BOTHER. And about the MSG……with the way I felt afterwards, I’m not so sure they don’t use it, so beware. One last thing. Don’t go by the menu online or even the one that they have in the restaurant. Those are old, so the actual prices are more. I went by the menu online and thought my order was going to be around $40. It landed up being $60. SO NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!

Just a heads up, no seating here only take out or probably delivery(I only do take out so not sure about delivery).
Food is ok tasting although I had to update my review because I did a little more digging into the background of this restaurant and it seems they consistently have health violations, both critical and non critical (often the same violations which shows they simply don’t care to fix them considering it’s from simple to fix stuff like lack of access for proper cleaning and food storage issues, that can pose severe health risks), from health inspections. This, combined with how it looked in there, I can’t help but say I don’t feel safe eating there again(and won’t be ), and that this place needs to be thoroughly reorganized and deep cleaned immediately if they care about good business and safe and sanitary food preparation.

Really had hopes for this place due to the distance. By far the worse I’ve tried, the rice wasn’t completely cook with some hard pieces of rice. The egg roll was fried in old oil, the list goes on. Place needs to be regulated just poor cooking conditions and absolutely no quality.

After noticing how many reviews are either poor or downright bad I felt the need to stick up for this place! Yes – the atmosphere is a bit rough as they only do takeout and Covid definitely smacked this place upside down just like many other restaurants BUT this has been my favorite place to buy Chinese food for years! I love the service and I always choose this place to order General Tsos over multiple places in Middletown and the surrounding areas.

The food is mediocre, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1. This is my 4th visit (closest location to my house) and they’ve given me the wrong order each time I’ve ordered here. Definitely worth driving a little farther for better, more consistent food/service.

1/2021: ordered take out, and was met at the front door to pick up order. No dine in, due to Covid. Decently priced, and they give you a lot of food. I couldn’t finish mine. My general tso tofu was pretty good, although it was not spicy at all, despite the menu saying it is. Egg rolls were delicious. My husband was happy with his chicken lo mein. We would order again
