We opened in October 2025 and are a husband and wife owned and operated small business making about 60 pizzas per day. Due to extremely high demand, we are currently selling pizzas through online pre-order ONLY. Pre-orders open on our Hotplate site at noon for orders being picked up the following business day and sell out almost instantly. 6,900+ individuals are signed up to receive text reminders just before ordering opens and hundreds of real people are trying to place orders at the exact same second. We sincerely appreciate your patience and kindness as we do our best to meet demand. We hope to eventually be able to serve everyone who would like to try our pizza.

Finally managed to get my hands on AK Pizza. Did not disappoint.
Reviews
We finally scored an A.K. Pizza pepperoni last night, and the quality is genuinely exceptional. The 18″ pie easily feeds 2–3 people. The crust is the star: crisp on the outside, airy with a great chew, and it holds up to the toppings beautifully. Sauce-to-cheese balance is spot-on, and the pepperoni is top tier. Taste-wise, this is my #1 in the city right now—yes, even edging out our usual favorite (Lupo).
That said, a few things make the experience harder than it needs to be:
Location + “best eaten immediately” reality: If you’re coming from north Seattle or the Eastside, the drive home means you’re almost guaranteed to eat it close to 30 minutes after it leaves the oven. This pizza would be even better at peak condition, but most customers won’t get that chance unless they live nearby.
Pickup logistics: Parking is tight and quick pull-over options are limited. After dark, pickup can feel a little stressful and not that safe, especially if you’re juggling timing and trying not to linger.
Ordering UX: The preorder system works for demand, but it’s tough to build a multi-pie order (or mix varieties) in a single checkout, which makes planning for groups trickier.
None of this changes the core point: the pizza is outstanding. We just hope A.K. finds ways to become a little more scalable in production and reduces the “opportunity cost” of getting the pizza. Fingers crossed that other locations are considered in the coming year. This is too great a pizza for to be in such limited capacity in Seattle.
Also, the pizzas may be “expensive”, but no more expensive than other great Seattle pizza spots. If anything, AK Pizza is more worth it to me because 1) the ingredients used are of high quality and you can taste and smell it, and 2) their pizzas are 18 inches compared to a lot of other spots that charge the same amount for a damn 16 incher!
The ONLY downside I’ve experienced was a super charred crust one of the two pizzas I had first ordered. Since ordering again, the crust has been good though. So YMMV.
From the first bite, it’s clear this isn’t ordinary pizza. The ingredients are unmistakably high-end—fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and layered with intention. Nothing is overpowering, nothing is an afterthought. The dough alone tells the story: perfectly fermented, light but structured, with a crisp exterior and a chew that reminds you why technique matters.
What truly elevates AK Pizza, though, is the customer service. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling forced. You get the sense that everyone working there actually cares—about the food, the experience, and the people walking through the door.
There’s a quiet confidence here. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just a clear commitment to excellence in every detail—from execution to hospitality.
If you value quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a place that clearly takes pride in what they do, AK Pizza is a standout.
The cookie was over the top too!
Took the picture after our first slice
The pizza is fantastic. I normally like a good NY style so I’m biased. But its thin, crispy, and flavor is fantastic. I know I know, its just pizza. But, its definitely S-tier pizza, and in the South Seattle area! That is pretty cool. My friends and I want to do a blind pizza taste test and see if its our #1. But its so hard to get one of them!!
The only good thing about this pizza was the texture. It was crisp and crunchy for the body of the pizza.
Given the hype and the artificially limited supply. It’s not a place that is worth coming back to.
