We started as a food truck in 2016, and in 2020 opened our first location inside the Center Street Market in Hilliard, Ohio.

It’s a walk-up booth inside a market. Service was quick and I got a pizza with onion and banana pepper.
Overall the pizza was pretty good – you can anchor a boat with the cheese of these pizzas. I underestimated the density and cheesiness – you definitely get your money’s worth. Massive quantities of cheese is not personally my preference, so if I go back I’ll probably see if they can scale that back a bit.
I liked the onions they used – good flavor like the kind typically used on street tacos. Crust was a bit spongey, but firm enough and nothing got soupey.
I wouldn’t classify this as like a craft pizza, but it’s certainly of higher quality than like a domino or pizza hut. I’d put it between a 3 and a 4. Good solid pizza to take over the crooked can while you drink a few. I could see people who like mountains of cheese really digging this place.

This was very below average pizza!
The positives – the sausage was fantastic! The pizza sauce was fantastic! The atmosphere & location fantastic!
After that, not so good! Burnt on the bottom, but somehow the center of crust was doughy and not completely cooked. (Not sure how you can burn bottom, and not cook the center??.. but that is what happened.) I think I’ll give this place another shot with something other than the pizza, because it did seem like they use quality ingredients.

I love the variety of meal options they have. The sub I got was better than I thought it would be. I had to get a knife and fork. I thought the costumer service was amazing and they got thing out real quick I would definitely eat there again.

I’m from Youngstown-Warren Ohio… Born and raised. Went to YSU. This place is really good. The meatballs and the sauce are delicious. The Satriale Bowl is “Y-town” in a bowl. DiRusso sausage… Pepperoni… OMG. The most amazing Italian peppers in oil and fresh bread reminds me of being home, with friends, with family… Good times, great food. Each time is excellent. …It just gets better and better! Jim Trafficant bowl is just perfect.

Enjoyed the pizza at this place. More of a pan pizza style, only size offered is 12 inches. Had a lot of cheese and the toppings were pretty tasty. The sub on the other hand was pretty subpar. I wouldn’t have a sub here again but would def come back for the pizza.

Meatball Mafia is amazing!! I had their Big Fat Antnee and I was not disappointed. I heard good things and I was a little surprised by the size but after the first bite I was glad I got it for sure. I went to the location inside of Crooked Can and with a few beers, a great pizza, and the game on I can’t think of a better afternoon. I would try Meatball Mafia again, 10/10!!

This was not very enjoyable. Meatballs were dry, sauce just mediocre, tiny dollop of ricotta and mozzarella not melted on top. To add insult to injury, 2 slices of wonder bread instead of “Italian bread” as described in the menu. We come every week for trivia. I’ll not spend my money here again. Thankful the young lady taking orders was friendly!

Are you from Youngstown and have been desperately seeking good pizza in a cardboard square loving Columbus? Then Meatball Mafia is for you! Seriously, best pizza I have found in Columbus. meatballs are good, too. For Brier Hill pizza is better than what I’ve had in Youngstown. The Butcher and Vindicator pizzas were excellent, too. Will be back.

Stopped in for pizza mainly, had a pepperoni mushroom and sausage. Crust was very good. Thick but not doughy. Flavors were good. Toppings could be more plentiful. Especially for a 20.00 12 inch pie. In my opinion.
Also tried a meatball sub. Meatballs were great. But like the pizza..a bit pricey I think for 12.00 . go check it out

The best pizza! I love their white pizza with hot pepper, my husband loves all the meat so the Butcher Is his favorite. My mom loves the Briar Hill pizza, and we both love the hot peppers. A little piece of Youngstown in Columbus.
