I tried this place after thinking it was closed, and it is amazing. I had the Ceasars salad it was fresh lettuce and hearts of romaine, small cherry tomatoes the dressing was well proportioned. I ordered the chicken Parmigiano and the chicken was SUPERB, fried golden brown juicy inside, spaghetti noodles soft with the taste of garlic in buttery sauce and marinara sauce perfectly seasoned. Bread stick small but tasteful. Tea was fresh. Owner was a delight and also a small town local ( Pearsall Tx). I know I will be a regular. Go Sonny’s and Welcome to Devine Texas. Visited for the first time, and I was happy with the texture and flavor of our food. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and the cream sauce had a good consistency and flavor. The pizza rolls are huge and so good!! The bread sticks had a good crunch on the outside and soft dough on the inside.
They were short staffed, which had us wait a really long time for our food. This was the downside to our visit, but the food is worth the visit!

I was traveling to San Antonio and this restaurant was the closest to my location according to Google maps.
Thank God I stopped by since everything there was awesome! The staff was super friendly and the food delicious!
I had a plate of lasagna and a salad with ranch dressing, just make sure to tell the waitress if you don’t want much dressing on top or maybe ask for it on the side since mine had a lot (I like it that way so it was good for me).

Chicken Parm was Awesome. Granted they are still short-handed and it took 45 minutes for my order the food was amazing. Generous piece of Chicken, Pasta sauce was spot on and quite flavorful. The spaghetti was delicious, but I fancy an angel hair instead. Came with a salad and piece of bread like Olive Garden. The food was great, but the service still needs some work. They were super nice but they seemed to be out of quite a few things. One family left because their order wasn’t taken fast enough for them. Still for me, 5 stars. Hang in there, it will get better.

The server is amazing, very talkative and attentive. Atmosphere is great. This place needs more help with orders. I’m currently waiting 40 minutes for an order I placed. The only reason I’m commenting is because I had time to voice my opinion after I answered my emails. I couldn’t say what the food will be like because my lunch hour will probably be gone by the time my food comes out. I’m thinking of just walking out , wait I already paid and left the minimal tip. Ok I changed it from 1 star to 3. Hopefully the food doesn’t disappoint.

First time here and we were very satisfied!
Freshly made bread sticks and sauce were delicious. Cesar salad with Ranch was the best we’ve ever had. The pepperoni and sausage pizza was bomb! To top it off it wasn’t expensive. We will definitely be coming back.

I have been to Sonny’s a few times and the food is great! Service was always friendly until I went in today with my family visiting from out of town, I wanted to share the wonderful food and service I had experienced in the past. This time unfortunately was not the case, we were greeted with a very rude waiter. However I did not let that stop me from wanting to show my guests a good dinner so I let it happen. That’s where I went wrong. I should have left right there because all we heard from her was telling the cook about how they should have been getting out soon due to the holiday, how they should get out at 6. She stomped around complaining about how exhausted she was and how she hoped no one else stopped by followed by slamming a closed sign on the door. Mind you, it was only 2 PM! Then they went on about what they were doing after and their love life (hook ups, and other things that shouldn’t be discussed around customers) The atmosphere was so awkward my guest and I just sat there listening to them talk so loudly. They didn’t even bother putting on the classical music they usually have on. I sat there completely mortified and shocked. As soon as we realized we had enough a group of people came in and she told them to sit down and she would be with them shortly while she proceeded to start the music. Maybe I’ll get take out next time.
