I had high expectations for this place. For the price, I was expecting much higher quality. I had the baked onion soup, which was amazing, a New York strip, and a side of mashed potatoes – I will note here that sides do not come with the entree. The menu stated “Yukon gold mashed potatoes” – they were ONE HUNDRED PERCENT instant mashed potatoes. I was appalled. The steak was good, but definitely not 47 dollars good. I’ve had 25 dollar steaks that superseded this one by far. Boyfriend had the prime rib, which was a decent portion, but in my opinion was mediocre and a little tough. For a 200 dollar dinner, I was expecting much better.

First time here and will definitely return. Not your typical Easter dinner but certainly did the trick for us. For a steak place was happily surprised how great the seafood risotto was. One note on the blackened steak: our blackened ribeye was ordered med rare but it was actually rare. No issue cause it was very good.

Excellent experience! I read some of the other reviews and was a bit apprehensive, but decided to try it out and see what kind of experience I would have. Glad that we did! We were hoping to grab a Fig based cocktail, which sadly the waitress let us know they were out of (seasonal and they would be changing the menus soon, so had not restocked and replenished) so we got another spiced cocktail that was wonderfully balanced, but not flavors that my partner enjoyed. The waitress was fully willing to replace it without any issues and was so accommodating!! We got the 8oz filet, which came with grilled broccoli and a carrot souffle that was wonderful! The filet itself was perhaps not the greatest cut of all time, but it was seared and cooked fantastically, and was very well seasoned. I had the mixed seafood risotto which came with 2 smallish scallops, 3 large shrimp and half a lobster tail- all of which was cooked and seasoned very well. We came for my partner’s birthday, and the restaurant comped our dessert (an extremely well executed vanilla creme brulee). All in all, fantastic service (the waitress was great, the GM came by to ask about the meal, even the folks clearing our tables checked in on us to see how we were doing), good food and drink, lovely ambiance. Will definitely come again!

This place is great. Very chill vibes, low smooth lighting. Extremely clean. We sat at the bar. Service was exceptional. Shared a filet with a side of au gratin potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were great. Would’ve ordered more but didn’t want to carry leftovers around all night while playing poker.

Was not going to try this restaurant because of the reviews but our friend said they had good meals when they went before so decided to give it a try this weekend. We went with a group of friends. The atmosphere is upscale casual and the chairs are very comfortable. Sharri was our server and she was knowledgeable and very friendly. I had the harvest chopped salad and seafood risotto. Both were delicious but I will say the shrimp were slightly overdone. My husband had the wedge salad and the special which was a New York strip. The steak was a little tough. Other friends who also got the special struggled cutting their steak. My reason for the 4 stars is the price. Everything is extremely overpriced. Nothing comes with the meal, it’s all add ons (except the special).

Food was amazing! The atmosphere was amazing, very calm compared to the chaos outside of the restaurant haha. Nora was phenomenal, she was such a great waitress. Definitely will be coming back again!

We had a private room and the service was not great. Only got one drink because it took them 45+ min to bring it out, the food took over an hour & we were given the completely wrong steak. When our correct food finally came it had very obviously been sitting under the heat lamps for a while, the bisque + the mashed potatoes literally had a film on top of them. Waited another 20-30 min just to get our checks. Won’t be back, the service and food quality was absolutely not worth the $90+ spent just on one cocktail and an entree.

Decided to go for my birthday. While this wasn’t the 1st time I’ve been to Shkode, I was super disappointed all around, if I’m honest. Appetizers were by far the best part of the meal. My crabcake was burned on the bottom, and they ended up taking that off our bill. We waited so long for the main courses that the chef made us another appetizer. When I got my filet mignon, it was not great. The worst filet I’ve ever had, not only was it definitely not 6oz, it had fat grissel just bad. I did enjoy the filet I asked for to replace my bad 1, which was also definitely 6oz. Also, the Mac and Cheese is delicious, but just remembered now the steaks Do Not come with any sides each side I believe are 9 dollars. I also got the 7 layer chocolate cake, and it was just dry this time. Next time we visit, we’ll probably only order appetizers and Mac and Cheese.

This is a very good restaurant. Being in the casino I wasn’t prepared to be very impressed but honestly the Sea bass was the best I’ve had in recent memory. It was very very good. I was surprised to learn our server (Brandy) was new because she did an excellent job, especially with our many questions and ridiculous requests! We will definitely make the drive back from GR again.

It’s dark and quiet. We went for our anniversary dinner. The food was great, It seemed pricy for mashed potatoes served with brussel sprouts and micro greens to accompany the delicious salmon. I feel like with that many potatoes, maybe put more sauce on the plate?
