I have supported this business for 19 years. Called for a delivery. Give the address. Estimated time about 30 min the young man says. Great. Hour and fifteen minutes go by. I call to check status. Young man states you said pick up. I said sir why did you ask for my address if you’re saying I said pick up. The young man has an attitude stating, “ you want the food or not”. I respond “sir if you’re delivering the food now it’ll be cold”. The young man states, “I don’t care man. I don’t care. You want the food or not” I respond I’ll take the refund. Passes it off to someone else. You hear the young man in the background raising his voice in the background. Such a shame I have supported this family business probably since he was in diapers. Unfortunately , I will never order from them again. Hopefully no long term customers experience the same disrespect.

We have ordered from Tai Hing at least 10 or 15 times over the last couple of years. It’s always been subpar, but acceptable and affordable for a quick bite. However, today both the food and service were disgusting.
The General Tso’s chicken was soggy and filled with uncooked corn starch and batter. The spring rolls were squishy and tasted old. The fried rice was wet and flavorless. Inedible and I feel sick to my stomach. I am usually the guy who will eat something just to avoid it going to waste, but I actually had to throw this all out.
We called to politely ask about a refund, and were told flat out that we should have asked for the food “well done” if we didn’t want it soggy. Shameful. There are plenty of Chinese takeout places in the area that know how to properly cook their food and are still affordable. We will never return.

This is a delicious “hole in the wall” Chinese food takeout which my family loves! We have been ordering from it for years and most times the foods were excellent! We have friends from NYC who visit us and want Chinese food from TH.
Also, we were not shy about providing feedback to TH (like a bit less salt or gloppy) before ordering and they always listened… now everything is just about perfect.

Just ordered from Tai Hing and wow, what a deal! For $77, we got what seemed like $200 worth of top-notch Chinese food. Everything was delicious, from the starters to the main courses. The ordering process was easy and the delivery was quicker than expected, with nothing missing. Highly recommend for quality and value!.

New review, I would give zero stars if I could, extremely rude people. Ordered shrimp and broccoli for delivery, received beef and broccoli, we never eat beef, they were so rude and awful to my husband, wanted him to drive there and return the dish that was wrong, he can’t drive, he had an accident and recently got out of the hospital, he explained that and they didn’t care, I really hate this place and how awful they treated my husband, I really hope they go out of business.
Don’t order a lobster dish, it is fake lobster.Also, the egg drop soup is so awful thick, you could stand a spoon upright in it, yuk.
Update, 9/5/2025, ordered the scallop and beef dish, the beef was tough, the scallops were not cooked right, and the broccoli was barely cooked. I won’t be going back here, they need to find better cooks.

The food was delicious and comparably priced compared to other places nearby as well, really enjoyed my meal here, wound up getting the sweet and sour shrimp, steamed dumplings, and a couple of egg rolls. The only downside is the website for ordering online is not up-to-date with prices. But I’m not going to retract a star for that. I would at the very least go online to see what they have, and call them and ask the prices before you get it.

I have raved about this place for years. I always loved their general tso’s chicken until today! What I got was not chicken at all but literally just corn starch pieces. This was actually disgusting. At least half the pieces of “chicken” had no meat at all and the other half very little meat. I haven’t been here in a while and I know times are hard right now, but seriously how cheap is this place getting to the point where they are charging $15.40 for a meal and 95% of the pieces of “chicken” have absolutely no meat in it at all. I literally spit out almost every piece. Absolutely shameful. I’m never coming here again after this.
