The food was made to order, fresh, and tasted great. The bread on the burger was amazing! The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helped me navigate through their large menu.

This place is a true mom and pop store with affordable prices and fresh, hot, and tasty food. Tbh I grab something here every week. Love the beef lo mein. The people here actually care about you and I’d say it’s the best casual place to eat in downtown Anchorage

This place is one of those that once you’ve lived in Anchorage for most of your life and finally come and try it, you’re amazed and wish you would’ve tried it a long time ago and why didn’t you hear about it! Great food, great prices and great service…all that you would expect from a restaurant…the people who run it are magnificent, the food gives you a lot of bang for your buck and they have a great variety, from subs & burgers w/ fries to Alaskan and Chinese food!

How this place stays open is a mystery to me. If you enjoy eating sandwiches made from grocery store bread, mid cold cuts, in a storage closet atmosphere, then you’re in luck!

They have a wide menu from American to Oriental food but they don’t sell Korean soup stew anymore which I missed very much.

Listen!!!! If your into Cheesesteaks, Subs, and Bugers then look no further. I ordered the 12” New York Steak combo. Comes with fries and a drink. Total came to $19.50. The fries are crispy. The sub is a monster loaded with meat. The bread tastes fresh. Overall 8/10 on the food scale. Will definitely try again.

Ordered 2 – 12″ subs @ $17 each. Total $34.
Gave lady $100 bill. She was going to give me $57.50 change instead $66. She corrected the change when I said something. Honest error?
Strange thing is same thing happened at another restaurant this morning. Our bill at the other restaurant was $36 but we were charged $39.
Tourist be aware. Note there is no food tax in Anchorage. Each Alaskan town has different taxes and there is not state tax.

I went with my husband, kids and mother for good food. Talk about a joke! The lady is rude and snobby. The guy’s customer service and attitude wasn’t any better. Our subs and sandwiches were horrible. They were made like school cafeteria food. Turkey cheese and ham cheese were made with shredded cheese, cheap deli meat, and bread was toasted rock hard. My turkey, bacon cheese club had a piece of bacon cut in smaller pieces , cheap deli meat and kids kraft single slice cheese. $11.00 for a sub-standard quality sandwich. Tomatoes and lettuce not fresh at all either. Save your money and get some boars head deli meat and cheese. You will thank me!!
