took a chance on the amazing google reviews and tried this place out for lunch. we had no idea what anything was/what to order so we went for the old bridge platter which had a little of everything. the food was super good (the stuffed peppers with beef (dolma) and the cabbage rolls (sarma) were definitely my favourite!!!!) we also tried the turkish coffee – make sure to let the coffee sit for a few mins before you drink to let the coffee grounds settle to the bottom! definitely pricey, but portions are hearty

My husband commented on how in the music community, there’s often talk about how certain albums can make you feel nostalgic for a childhood you never had — and how this restaurant somehow evokes something similar. This food tastes like home, but not a home I’ve ever known.

As someone who has no familiarity with Bosnian cuisine, the Old Bridge platter was a perfect choice. We got to try a bit of everything and it was all delicious — our plates were scraped clean.

We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.

If you haven’t tried authentic Bosnian food, you’re seriously missing out. The pita bread alone is worth the visit—crispy, flaky, and perfectly fresh. And the Muckalica? Absolutely incredible—rich, flavorful, and made with so much care. You can tell this is a true mom-and-pop spot, full of charm and heart. Everything feels homemade and done right. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu—it’s that good!

I was so happy to find a local Bosnian restaurant. I moved to UT without my family and I was feeling very homesick for my mom’s cooking.

I brought my partner & my in-laws (who had not tried Bosnian food before) – they loved it! We got a little bit of everything – Ćevape, Zeljanica, schnitzel, and my in laws got the platter which gave them a ton of different food to try (like Sarma). Great portion sizes.

The food was fantastic, the staff was so welcoming. I felt so at home and am happy I have somewhere to go when I am missing my mom’s cooking. My partner also mentioned how at home he felt in the restaurant and he’s not even Bosnian lol. Great energy. Highly recommend!

Tastes like going to grandma’s house and eating real food. Very cozy. I feel like if we ate similar foods at a different restaurant it wouldn’t be as satiating. Licorice candy at the end was the cherry on top. 10/10 will come here again next time we are in town.

Never had Bolivian food before, but decided to give it a try! Food was amazing with different flavors then I’ve ever had before. Chicken was tender and juicy, rice was amazing and the baklava was superb!! A little pricey but will definitely be going back!!

Delightful and different experience. Unique flavors and textures prepared by the owners, who are from Bosnia and fled during the war. The platter was a great sampling of everything. The kebabs were also excellent. Prices were reasonable.
Whatever that cabbage wrapped thing over rice was my favorite. The sausages were made in-house.
Decor was awesome- compete w books of pictures from their hometown.
If it’s not busy, they’re happy to talk about their history in Bosnia, and how they ended up in Utah. It was a fantastic experience.

My husband and I tried Old Bridge Cafe for the first time. We were looking for something new to try and the reviews looked great. From the time we walked in we were greeted by the owners who are also the cooks. She was so welcoming and helpful on deciding what to try. We got the Old Bridge Platter it was plenty of food for both of us. It was delicious. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

This is the best kept secret in the city. You’ve got to come try this traditional authentic Bosnian cuisine. The pita bread was out of this world. The Muckalica was extraordinary. This is a true mom ‘n pop restaurant. We will be back!

Authentic Bosnian food, so good! We got the Old Bridge platter, shopska salad, muckalica, and eggs and cevapi (not pictured). We finished off with the Turkish coffee. Everything was so delicious. For those who aren’t familiar, of savory meat, bell pepper, and tomato flavors.
