If you’re in Ormond, in the mood for pizza you need to go to Grandpa’s Pizzeria. Their fresh made bread shines through on the garlic knots! The bread is just so yummy. The garlic butter with Parmesan they put on top of the garlic knots is mouth watering. The pizza is NY style and man was it good. Highly recommend this hole-in-the-wall pizza place. You will not be disappointed.

I consider pizza a staple in my dietary desires. I’ve had alot of pizza from many locations in my lifetime. So much in fact, that it would be fair to say I’m somewhat of a pizza connoisseur. And hands down, Grandpa’s Pizza is the best pizza I’ve had since moving here from NYC. Be it the round pie or the Grandpa’s, which to me is a Sicilian pie but oval in shape rather than rectangular. Both divine.
And when you go inside and get a warm welcome from the owner, family, staff, etc, you know it’s made with love, care and quality. That would include their meatballs, which as I take pride in mine whenever I make them, i had to try.
Molto ben fatto, Grandpa’s!

First time trying them today and it is SHOCKINGLY delicious. Had a small pizza that would be a medium/large anywhere else. The flavor lingers so well, kind of dreaming of the next pie. Dont hesitate. In fact, run.

This place is a true hole-in-the-wall gem, and we’re so glad we finally tried it. Hands down the best pizza we’ve had in Ormond Beach. We’ve worked our way through many of the local pizzerias, and this one stood out by far in both flavor and quality. Simple, authentic, and absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in again for a second visit since we thoroughly enjoyed it the first time.
We got a large pizza, which IS round although we considered getting a “grandpa style” which is not (round) and we were well educated on that fact from our first visit when we inquired about what it was. But we were hungry and it was so good last time I wanted the biggest pizza we could get so there’d be leftovers, which I then had for lunch today! But we are intrigued by this fluffier, oval “grandpa style” and will try it one day.
The crust was crispy and sturdy and held together well and has a nice flavor. Toppings were all tasty and seemed to be fresh and of good quality. This is currently in my top 3 favorite pizzas in Volusia and Flagler Counties. They are, in no particular order, Rocky’s, Manny’s, and now Grandpa’s if you want some reference.
Currently they only have canned sodas or bottled water which is fine because they’re very fair with their canned soda prices. They have a BYO policy which I didn’t pay much attention to but it’s on their door if you want to know.
First impressions of the place is it’s tiny. Seemingly more set up for take out. What it lacks in size is well made up for in quality and friendliness. It was only our second stop and we were already recognized. Happy to say the pizza is delicious, service is quick, and the folks seem like genuinely nice people. This is just the kind of place we like to support and recommend.

Tried Grandpa’s Pizza in Ormond Beach for the first time today, and it did not disappoint. Excellent NY/NJ–style pizza with great flavor. The place is small (a few tables inside and outside), so it seems like takeout is a big part of their business. Huge menu with daily specials plus pizzas, baked pastas, calzones, stromboli, wings, sandwiches, salads, and more. If you’re looking for a solid local pizza spot, definitely give Grandpa’s a try. 118 S. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach

This is my favorite place to eat before I go to work. I love the spaghetti and meatballs with a salad and garlic knots. Such a great price. Staff are very nice and friendly. They also have outdoor seating which is nice to sit outside and enjoy your meal.

We stopped in at Grandpa’s Pizzeria in Ormond Beach for a slice of pizza after church. It smelled so good when we walked in, we decided to order the 16″ Margarita Pizza instead. Absolutely delicious! This is a must try, you won’t be disappointed. The couple next to us had spaghetti dinners which they said was excellent. We’re from the New Jersey & Philadelphia area so to find pizza this good is an awesome surprise. Go, support this small family owned restaurant. You will be happy you did.

Ordered wings, pizza, and garlic knots. I wanted my wife to taste east coast pizza for the first time. I have had many great experiences in Florida and saw the reviews for Grandpa’s and decided to order. Pizza taste like a frozen pizza and about a step below Domino’s. Wings were not hot or spicy and tasted rubbery. Garlic knots had no fresh garlic or olive oil as advertised. Will not be back! Not worth the $60 bux at all
